Div 1 ladder is looking like this season will be a good one for matchups with all teams looking good, holding their own against top teams making for great games with some mad skillz..
Showtime Shooters got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Yo Mambas in this round which would result in a great match. Jakiah was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Jake L was heating up as he bagged 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Jake E slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 20 points on the sheet , Jarryd T had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 15 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Shooters bouncing back from last rounds loss with a great win with some big shots from the wings with Jakiah heating up big time from deep to keep the Shooters out in front despite some great buckets by Jake and Jarryd. Shooters in equal 2nd along with Yo Mambas who is looking forward to their next matchup when Yo Mambas have some front line troops back in action!
Hogz knew what to expect when they faced Splash in a game that started close but ended one sided. Aaron P beasted hard this game finishing on a great 18 points to shut the defense down. . Elliot J got to good spots on the court and shot well with 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Ahmad A & Paul G wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 24 points recorded by the bench , Adrian with an epic performance and great score of 19 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Splash came out and were just a sniff away from giving Hogz their 2nd loss in a row, a rare thing for the defending champs. The half time score only had Hogz up by 2 with Splash feeling it from all over the court. Hogz locked into gear and kept up their attack from outside and kept piling in the treys. And that was game..Hogz in equal 2nd spot and Splash in 5th as we head into the break.
Streetfighters knew it would take more than buckets, they needed stops and that got them the win.. Bellambi Bombers and knew it would be a test on their troops. Scotty W couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 28 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Lachy CR was heating up as he bagged 10 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jed P Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 12 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Jerome T played well as far as getting 10 points on the sheet . Streetfighters looking strong behind the point guard play of Lachy giving the ball to the super efficient Nitro who has been pushing 30 every game. Bombers were on the back foot and couldn’t lock down the shots from mid range or scrape up as many boards as the Steetfighters’ dedicated rebounders who ate glass. Bombers sit in equal 2nd and Streetfighters all alone in 1st as they hang up their shoes for a few weeks over the break.
Div 2 wasn’t as close this game with some teams getting hot and other teams doing what they could to stop the burn…some big results and high scoring performances…
Sugar Dunkertons took the game second half from the CBT in a game that started close but ended one sided. Cam B slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 22 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Jake getting stats from everywhere including 8 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Tjay & Jasper R scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 22 points but a loss unfortunately , Todd V the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Dunkertons looking like the team to beat clinching number 1 spot pre Christmas break after this solid win on CBT who didn’t know what they were facing till it was too late, the outside shots landing for Sugar Ds and the extra boards from Lav worked in their favor….CBT sitting in 5th after a slow start to the season but once they work out the opposition, the Ws will come!
Killa Beez grinded out a win in back and forth match vs The Stallions and pushed it all the way to the end. Wayne J Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 30 points to get over the line. . Dan B slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 21 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Nathan K just too much experience shooting the 3 with 17 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Sandon A played well as far as getting 14 points but a loss unfortunately . KillaBeez came out stinging from everywhere taking advantage of the zone defense by putting up some outside shots and shifting the D one side to finish from a cutter. Stallion were grooving for a bit hitting some nice 3s and putting in some work down low getting and1s. But late game, the Beez made a run that the Stallions couldn’t shoot their way out of and couldn’t get stops this time, and copped an L and still sitting in 6th spot and Killa Beez in 2nd rank for now till next year!
Div 3 ballers had one last chance to get their best moves and put them on show for the spectators, and it didn’t disappoint, with some players getting number and great statlines.

Fumblerz werent going to stand down against Degen kings and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Whilst on the other team, Matt B played well as far as getting 11 points but a loss unfortunately , Kurt D had a pretty good game scoring wise with 5 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Fumblerz taking this one seriously as they pounded the ball up the court each time to run the break, using their extra personnel to switch in when needed to keep up the pace, which int eh end was too much for the Degen Kings, who despite some good runs, just weren’t able to stop the steady flow of points from the mid range. Degen Kinds cop the L and sit in 4th spot leading into Christmas, whilst Fumblerz sit equal 2nd on the ladder rankings after this solid win.
Ballers had better offense than the defense of their opponent, PRESTIGE WORDLWIDE who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Austin B with an epic performance and great score of 18 big ones to conlclude the mission . Ivan C kept his average up there for the season with a nice 17 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Hayden A was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 11 points recorded by the bench , Sam felt it was time to step up and got 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Ballers had a balanced attack with the guards and forwards doing work, Austin bringing his all round game to the spotlight, as the super quick offensive force that is Ivan notching 1 points less to combine for almost 40 which Harden and the boys couldn’t match this game. Ballers in equal 2nd and Prestige Worldwide in 3rd spot.
Bricklayers started strong and got the jump on TFC and put up alot of unanswered buckets to mount up the lead and the win. Michael P points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 11 points to ensure they get the win this round. Ethan 6 Brad 6 & Jake took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 6 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Dave T scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points in this game. , Nathan D played well as far as getting 6 points in the loss .Bricklayers had something to prove before we go on break, and they did it this game doing a great job 1st half to get a lead on the TFC crew who are always keen to compete and push their opponents on both ends. 2nd haf Bricklayers stepped up the D and were able to own this half and take the win. TFC in equal 4th and Bricklayers in 1st spot for this time in the season pre break…
