Div 1 welcomes the new hot team on the block the Aces! Some beat downs and some super close moments as the best of Tuesdays matchup!
Double Dunkers grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Aces and luckily scraped up a solid close out victory Jed P put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 20 points to ensure they get the win this round. . John F was heating up as he bagged 7 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Dugald O getting stats from everywhere including 12 points on the sheet , Fola helped out with the load getting 8 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Aces enter the league and start off the show with a big game against the hustling Double Ds who knew they were up for a hectic game! Fola gota some quick buckets then the Double Ds locked down on him as the rest of Aces got some big runs that were answered back by the Double Ds keeping he game close. At the end it was too close with garbage time engaged, the 2nd ranked Double Ds kept the lead hitting some clutch free throws to give the L to Aces. Great first game for the Aces!
Top Gun Agents Crew (TGAC) took the game second half from the KillaBeez who sit low on the ladder and need a streak to come together. Oscar S couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 22 points to shut the defense down. . Brent H pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 11 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Anf N just too much experience shooting the 3 with 6 points recorded by the bench , Will G 5 & Andy K played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 5 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . The Merger is working! As they take down the KillaBeez this game who kept turning the ball over which TGAC capitalized and hit the break and stopped the beez from swarming. Killa Beez in equal 3rd and a losing record whilst TGAC is in equal 1st!
Chargers started strong and got the jump on The Bandwagoners in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Reggie K channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 32 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Geoff A going to work down low in the blender. 16 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Josh H scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 12 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Izaak W finished the game with a commendable 11 points on the sheet . Chargers having their way with the Bandwagoners this game as they got out to a double digit lead and kept it all game, making sure the Bandwagoners shooters didn’t get them back into the game. 1st place is held b Chargers but shared with TGAC, Bandwagoners in 4th after this round!
Div 2 had heaps of close games some that would change the ladder slightly and some that would widen the gaps in ranks. Whos getting buckets in Div2 ?
Fighting Mongooses just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Dream Team and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. G Bailey was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 14 points in the big dominating victory. . Zac had a pretty good game scoring wise with 10 points to get over the line. but on the other side Nathan D let it fly and hit more than missed with 11 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Mitch P kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 10 points together as they go down in this matchup. . Mongooses getting out of trouble late game as the scores were tied. Zac has been beasting inside all season and this time is as a clutch moment for him as he took the ball inside and scooped in for the go ahead bucket and the game for the Mongooses who sit in 3rd. Dream team in 5th after this game….
Wyangal Pirates shot the lights out against a helpless The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes , who underestimated the accuracy of their opponent and copped a loss for it Nick B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Alex B helped out with the load getting 12 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Liam C finished the game with a commendable 9 points but a loss unfortunately , Lach W scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Whoopsey cops its first loss as their undefeated run comes to an end at 6 wins. Wyangal Pirates sit in equal 2nd now after they put the work in on the break all game, giving the Whoopsey crew a match in pace that they aren’t used to, and the bigger Pirates went to work inside and got the orebs that converted to putbacks which was the difference in this one. Whoopsy still hold their rank as 1st but are on alert now with that L to their name!
BD Ballers got a good win on the Heat Check in a game that started close but ended one sided. Cam B couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 32 points to get over the line. . James T pulling in much needed offensive rebounds as well as 10 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Speedy let it fly and hit more than missed with 21 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Jake E had a pretty good game scoring wise with 13 points but a loss unfortunately . Cam B was on fire this game and ran the offense pushing the ball up the court and pulling up for 3s which kept going in leaving the heat check trying to answer back with their own threes which were just rimming out for them this game. BD ballers sit in 3rd and the heatch Check sits in 6th looking for the perfect run of games to get some Ws.
Cream City ,right out of the gates, jumped on the Bricklayers who werent ready for them this game. Aidan E owning the glass and taking names in the post with 17 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Tom pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 17 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Neale P just too much experience around the paint getting 13 points but a loss unfortunately , Nathan R got to good spots on the court and shot well with 10 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Cream City ready to get a streak on and they get the win with some expert dimes and threes by the guards and some good effort on the glass by the bigs, just too much for Bricklayers who sit low on the ladder and really wanted to get this win but 2nd place Cream City were too good on both end this time around.
Div 3 teams are all on high alert as the ladder is clogged in the top and the next few rounds will separate the ranks as we see who is taking control!

Big Dunks and big passing plays in this game as the trigger firing Punthub kept up the volume of shots to get the lead but the Ducks Defense was stellar, stopping and putting hands up on shots to make the Punthub shooters struggle to get a few to string together. This game was full of big plays including 3 big dunks by the up and coming Lach Mason who found some air time and made a few posters on the way to a Ducks win,

Jarrod M was heating up as he bagged 7 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Jordyn W had a pretty good game scoring wise with 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Adam F got to good spots on the court and shot well with 10 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . The Generals’ 3 game winning streak was amazing but it was stopped here on this game. Love handles are killing it this season and are in 1st place with 2 other teams after this match where it came down the last moments and a free throw by Jarrod M was the clincher in the game as Love Handles took down the streaking Generals who have been playing great lately, just unlucky in this one but still sit in equal 2nd!

Mattias I had his back with a 9 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, N Dunstan heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 15 points recorded by the bench , Lindsay H scored well with 6 points but a loss unfortunately . Fun Guys 3 game losing streak is over and the win in OT gets the big headline of this round for this division! A big time shot by Jye in the Overtime period did the trick as the well timed fadeaway was a great shot to see and left the Parrots hanging their heads as they had this one stolen from them! Parrots still in equal 1st, Fun Guys in 3rd!
