Round 4 is done and dusted and its just before the emergence of a new team next week, this round it all, almost! Check out what happened!
Buckled Knees shot the lights out against a helpless Figtree Cannons in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Joel S was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 18 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Mitch R was heating up as he bagged 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Tom S getting stats from everywhere including 8 points on the sheet , Nath Curry helped out with the load getting 5 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Buckled Knees were keen to get this one underway as they were looking to fire up some big shots and some long threes this game, and it was the difference in score in the end, the inside play matched by Figtree Cannons but the outside shots just weren’t there for them and Buckled Knees jumped out to a lead quickly which the Cannons just couldn’t cover by the end of the game. Cannons in 3rd and Buckled Knees in equal 2nd.
Globo Gym grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Dream Team and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Kobe, Adrian & Jacob combined jersey numbers and scores to put in 31 points to shut the defense down. . Jaden H pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 11 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Snowy O pushed the break and went home with a tidy 23 points recorded by the bench , Des D Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Globo are still undefeated and this time they took advantage the outside shot against the inside dominating Dream Team who were putting their usual shots up and they were landing for the most part, but they couldn’t stop the scoring runs by Globo Gym throughout the game,with crucial plays swinging the lead quickly in the 2nd half…Dream Team in equal 3rd and Globo still undefeated and in Number 1 place!
