More Buckets Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Figtree Cannons and put up alot of unanswered buckets to mount up the lead and the win. Jack T put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 20 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Nat D pitched in to add to the score with, 11 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Andrew F was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 15 points on the sheet , James B had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 9 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. More Buckets come in strong and hit it hard with the same style that brought them many weeks of number 1 rank in Div 2 on Tuesdays last season. Figtree Cannons came out firing as they do from three and pushing the ball inside for some easy layups, but the bigs of More Buckets smothered the paint and go to work on the glass, not allowing the guard rotation of the Cannons to get any momentum, forcing more outside shots. Cannons in 3rd after this one!
Globo Gym just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Rogues in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Reggie K & Kobe M combined jersey numbers and scores to put in 34 points to shut the defense down. . Jacob M ended up with an efficient 4 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Zach F beasted hard this game finishing on a great 21 points recorded by the bench , Jake was heating up as he bagged 12 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Globo gym get away with this one as they got behind Reggie K and his big scoring plays which kept the Rogues looking for a way to stop the penetration. Rogues had their way with scoring too, as a team they put up some numbers, getting the ball to the open shooter and running the break, making sure they finish…Globo withstood a late run by Rogues as Zach got hot from mid range, Globo was able to hold onto the lead despite Rogues efforts and keep the number 1 spot for now. Rogues in 4th .
Buckled Knees was ready this time around for The Birchos and put up alot of unanswered buckets to mount up the lead and the win. Ryan W couldnt miss much as he led his team with 12 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Mitch 9 & Joel played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 9 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Liam F let it fly and hit more than missed with 8 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Lloyd S scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 3 points on the sheet . Buckles knees still too strong this time as they take down BIrchos who were missing some crucial pieces that Buckled knees took advantage of by hammering the cherry picks and long passes leading to fast break points that afforded a good lead to BK.
