Haz Beanz started strong and got the jump on Gongstar and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Azza P couldnt miss much as he led his team with 22 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Elliot J pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 21 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Ivan C getting stats from everywhere including 16 points on the sheet , Alex P 12 & Froi F was heating up as he bagged 11 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Gongstar put up a great effort, stopping some of the inside action, but the Haz beanz put in work on the break and extended the lead to an unreachable total, a great warm up for both teams!
Mudflaps shot the lights out against a helpless #talktomebro and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. James L heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 15 points to shut the defense down. . Farrar weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 13 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Jed P finished the game with a commendable 15 points recorded by the bench , Adrian G pitched in to add to the score with, 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Mudflaps returning as champions this season and look to establish dominance early this time against the #talktomebro crew who looked good as well, doing their usual thing from the inside, but with a few more runners on Mudflaps got them out on the break and more chances to shoot, which got them the win, looking good going into the regular season next week!
Miami Vice got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Towradgi Rattlesnakes in this round which would result in a great match. Seth heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 22 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Dan B going to work down low in the blender. 19 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Henry E let it fly and hit more than missed with 19 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Jack C got to good spots on the court and shot well with 16 points on the sheet . Vice looked to get things going early, with a familiar crew to get the job done, and they did! Rattlesnakes were out for some buckets too but they weren’t coming easy as the Vice guards swarmed the ball carriers. Both teams getting a good start as they look to keep it up from next week.
The Klaws left it till the final moments after a huge scoring run against The Oubres and luckily scraped up a solid close out victory Ramtin got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 20 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Adam K slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 12 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Jesse O just too much touch on the midrange shot with 19 points but a loss unfortunately , Danilo L was heating up as he bagged 14 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . This was a huge game! With Klaws down a bunch of points 1st half, they fought their way back and were able to bring it within 2 at which point, Adam K stepped up and hit a huge 3 to give Klaws the lead by 1 which didn’t change as Oubres final shot from halfway almost went. Clutch plays getting this game the game of the round!
Summoners were pumped to be playing AGENTS in a game that started close but ended one sided. Jack S couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 33 points to get over the line. . Luke S 10 & Jordan Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 10 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jono C beasted hard this game finishing on a great 13 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Michael P points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 11 points but a loss unfortunately . Summoners looked like they hadn’t left the court as they return with more skills and more players to take on the contenders. Agents had some warming up to do, and were getting into a rhythm 2nd half, but just a little late as Summoners has built up a lead on Jack S and his scoring rampage.
