Div 1 had a ripper of a game! It was the grand finals matchup and the mood was tense, the Haz Beanz and Mudflaps matchup everyone was waiting for!
Haz Beanz started strong and got the jump on Mudflaps couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Azza P couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 26 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Joe P had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 11 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Will F felt it was time to step up and got 16 points on the sheet , T Rhodes 11 & Patty L pitched in to add to the score with, 10 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Haz Beanz looked good out of the gates and put their hustle on show getting out to a quick start and pushed the break putting the ball into Azzas hot hands who put in work this game outscoring everyone big time with a combo of slashing and big 3 bombs! Mudflaps just weren’t able to shoot as well as their opponents and threw the ball away a couple of times giving the Haz Beanz extra chances and extra buckets. Haz Beanz get slight revenge for the Grand Finals…till next meeting!
Div 2 had the bulk of games and there were results that defied the betting odds as some underdog teams got up!
AGENTS wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Towradgi Rattlesnakes and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Alex P channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 13 points to shut the defense down. . Michael P 10 & Sannie Y pitched in to add to the score with, 10 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Jack C finished the game with a commendable 12 points recorded by the bench , Jackson L scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . AGENTS started quickly with a few points as the Rattlesnakes took a while to get going but picked up the pace and scoring in the 2nd half. Jack hit some threes and Jackson did well also, but it wasn’t enough as AGENTS controlled the last few minutes and prevented a comeback. Agents sit in 2nd, even with Rattlesnakes.
CBT shot the lights out against a helpless The Oubres who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Todd V couldnt miss much as he led his team with 19 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Sam H 16 & Tjay V also helped out in the win with 14 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jesse O put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 31 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Lachy Pax pitched in to add to the score with, 19 points on the sheet . CBT came with the thunder and went hard from the start, Oubres were cruising and usually has the good start agains their rivals, CBT. Oubres had a hole to dig themselves out of and Jesse got right to work with some big shots to keep Oubres in the hunt. But Todd V, Sam and T-Jay put up some big numbers and prevented the Oubres from taking the first game in their season series! Great win CBT! Oubres in 2nd now as CBT take the 1st rank!

James L thrives in Div2 and put up some big buckets to support and get the win for 2Muddy, who sit in equal 2nd. Gongstar sit in 3rd after this one.
Summoners got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Super Simps in this round which would result in a great match. Luke S channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 19 points to get over the line. . Jordan also helped out in the win with 9 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Nick C scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Bayley T pitched in to add to the score with, 9 points but a loss unfortunately . Summoners welcome Super Simps to Saturday UBL with a loss unfortunately. Super Simps looked good as some old faces have re-emerged to challenge the division. Summoners started a little slow, but once they got going, it was all momentum. Super Simps did well to figure out some plays and hit some nice shots, but they need to build chemistry first to beat a team like the experienced Summoners squad they lost to today, who are keen to get some wins and a streak built!
