The Stallions shot the lights out against a helpless Punthub in a clinic, taking advantage of lesser defensive matchup. Tom K just too much experience shooting the 3 with 27 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Jack G also helped out in the win with 21 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Darcy E scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 16 points but a loss unfortunately , Hayden S 10 & Bryce W pushed the fast break and transition offense resulting in 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Stallions were mega active this game, the runners were running, the shooters were shooting, and the bigs were being big!! A complete game was played from Stallions, welcoming Punthub to the Thursday comp, with a scoring display. Punthub had Darcy go off with some buck shots esepcailly from deep, but Stallions had their big 3 this game get double digits, too much this time for Punthub, Stallions in 2nd place after this game.
Air jellem went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Scorgasms in this round which would result in a great match. Jarryd T put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 22 points to get over the line. . Rhys P also helped out in the win with 7 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Nick G had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Daniel B pitched in to add to the score with, 8 points but a loss unfortunately . Air jellem took on Scorgasms and this one was a good matchup and both teams were neck and neck most game till Jarryd T made a bunch of free throws to close the game and get the dub for Air jellem who sit in 1st place! Scorgasms in equal 3rd after this loss by only a few buckets!
Brick city Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Rogues needed every time out to get the result they need, and Liam C beasted hard this game finishing on a great 12 points to ensure they get the win this round. Dom K 7 & Levi also helped out in the win with 7 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Jake couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 7 points but a loss unfortunately , Adam ended up with an efficient 5 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Brick city came out hustling and Rogues were taken aback letting Brick city get a 13 point lead at the half. Rogues went with their usual lineup of inside post action and outside shots, but they weren’t landing like they usually do this game. Rogues cop the L and Brick city get their first win in the first matchup with Rogues who sit in 4th.
FlammaBulls took the game second half from the Southside Ballers , who underestimated the defence of their opponent and copped a loss for it Stuart G led all scorers on a solid 16 big ones to conlclude the mission . Jordan getting stats from everywhere including 8 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Brad B scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 8 points recorded by the bench , Cody T pitched in to add to the score with, 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . FlammaBulls starting to gel and put some numbers up, especially this game from Stu G who was on point this game with this shoots. Southside Ballers had Brad and Cody C step up and get some tasty buckets, but mid game FlammaBulls went on a little run that Southside Ballers just couldn’t catch up to and will sit in 6th place. FlammaBullsin 5th for now.
Buckled Knees had its work cut out against Birchos who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. White T Dunker slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. Scotty M kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 13 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Adam L scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 21 points in this game. , Tim W 7 & Jackson J ended up with an efficient 6 points in the loss . Buckled Knees wayyy too pro this time, as the Guys in the white shirt went shaq mode and started creating posters of the other players by dunking on a few!
