Div 1 had some teams change up the game and get a win before the break, the streaks aren’t long on the ladder with the competition staying pretty tight!
Shaqtin’ a Fools started strong and got the jump on Benders couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Lachy CR put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Jack H was hitting the midrange shot with some soft touches 15 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Kalos H let it fly and hit more than missed with 12 points on the sheet , Jasper Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 10 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Shaqtin’ a Fools started with a solid offensive structure, and kept at it all game, Benders were in a hole in the first half, and kept up the pace with Shaqtn most game, but the extra pass offense and soild defense was too much and the top rank is taken by Shaqtin’ a Fools before the break and Benders are in 3rd place.
Dellys Disciples just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Bone Collectors whos shooting has been streaky compared to recent times. Zac S focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 19 points to shut the defense down. . Haydin K let it fly and hit more than missed with 15 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Reggie K put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 15 points recorded by the bench , Jake E ended up with an efficient 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . DellysDisciples snap their 5 game losing streak after this one. Bone Collectors sit in 2nd but looked disjointed this game, the Dellys Disciples crew was ready to take advantage and hit up the inside out attack with Zac S and Haydin providing some fire outside which gave them the win over Bone Collectors. Dellys were due for a win and got one just in time before the break!
Wasted Potential needed someone to step up and hit the game winner against Bitter Sweet Ballers in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Mitch F heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 15 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Seth also helped out in the win with 14 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Andrew F pushed the break and went home with a tidy 9 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Kiti, Jakiah , Christian & Duane owning the glass and taking names in the post with 6ea points on the sheet . Wasted Potential came out firing and put the ball into the shoot guards hands to get some buckets, Mitch F and Seth leading the way and pushing the team forward. Bitter Sweet Ballers have been playing well lately but this time they were out crafted inside and were punished on the break enough times to let Wasted Potential steal the win as they sit in 4th
DIv 2 was lit, just check the results, and the top scorers! its looking to be a tight race in the ranking this season!
Buckled knees got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Dunkings in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Scott M with an epic performance and great score of 15 points in the big dominating victory. . Luke H finished the game with a commendable 11 points to get over the line. but on the other side Ivan C getting stats from everywhere including 25 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Jacob G played well as far as getting 6 points in the matchup that couldve gone either way. . Buckled Knees snap their 3 game losing streak this round as they were able to fend off the forever scurrying Dunkings who have their own 3 game losing streak now to deal with when they get back from break. The pace was quick and Ivan was forcing the zone to collapse giving shots to the guards. But Dunkings weren’t able to get eh few extra points needed this game.
Penetrators shot the lights out against a helpless The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes in a game that started close but ended one sided. Griffin S couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 30 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Joel getting stats from everywhere including 7 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Sam S beasted hard this game finishing on a great 16 points but a loss unfortunately , Cody C just too much experience around the paint getting 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Penetrators were smashing it this game, even through the score wasn’t as much of an indicator. Griffin his 8 threes leading the way and leaving the Whoopsy Fudge Stripes shaking their heads and taking the L before the break. Penetrators sit in 4th place now ready to get their rightful jump up the ranks when we return.
Foy Boys took the game second half from the Double Dribble in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Harry S got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 14 points to get over the line. . Michael F ended up with an efficient 9 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Grant O let it fly and hit more than missed with 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Shane R & Jayke Z played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 7ea points but a loss unfortunately . Foy Boys have been playing well the last 3 games, and they are on a 3 game win streak now after taking down Double Dribble in a game which had some big shots from Harry as they took to the break outrunning Double Dribble this time and taking the win also. Double Dribble sit in 3rd place and the Foy Boys are all alone in 1st place with everyone out to get them!
Div 3 had the bulk of games and the closest games this round, with streaks being destroyed and built on, it was a great show of buckets before the xmas break.
Bank Shootaz knew what they had to do against Orange Peelers and hustled harder getting the W. Kenneth K put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 24 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Nathan R helped out with the load getting 12 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Amura J slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 21 points but a loss unfortunately , Moey finished the game with a commendable 8 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Orange Peeler have their 4 game win streak ended this round. Bank Shootaz were keen to get this win and kept pushing the ball around the wings and into their shooters who were finding the bottom of the net on some nice moves. Orange Peelers were led by Amura who hit some huge high arcing shots that almost hit the air conditioning ducts!. Orange Peelers drop this game and are no longer undefeated, but still in 1st place! Bank Shootaz in 5th.
Sweeet Azz was ready this time around for BD Ballers and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Ash heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 23 big ones to conlclude the mission . Mana & Kyle K played well as far as getting 6ea points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Jacob F the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 7 points recorded by the bench , Jamie M & Brennan F played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 6ea points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Sweeet Azz were too slick on the drive this game, and pulled in some big offensive boards that got them the extra bucket needed to keep extending the run and the lead. Sweeet Azz in 4th now and BD Ballers still working things out to build on a win streak after the break!
Raining 3s had its work cut out against Gong Heavy in a game that started close but ended one sided. Jarrod B heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. James H kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 11 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Zac S, Kyle S & Anton P played well as far as getting 7ea points in this game. , Dan H Popping up some well timed floaters in the lane getting numbers, with 6 points in the loss . Raining 3s looking to build on last weeks win and get some momentum going into the break. Gong Heavy were keen to get this losing streak off their back but would have to wait for 2022 as they lost again by only a bunch of buckets,. Raining 3s creeping ahead and keeping the lead this game, they sit in 6th and Gong Heavy in 7th.
Average Joes had its sights set on Cream City and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Dan B couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 24 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Charles was heating up as he bagged 18 points in the big dominating victory. combining for a a good total to out do the eventual defeated, whos scorers were; Tom had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 20 points but a loss unfortunately , Dave got to good spots on the court and shot well with 13 points worth of buckets in the loss.. . Average Joes took advantage of the Cream City crew who were undermanned and undersized this time. They needed a longer reach on the Danny B rampage of points this game from his patented fadeaway game. This was too much for Cream City despite some 3s from Tom. Average Joes are in equal 2nd now in a stakced div whilst Cream City sit in 3rd.
Air Ballers matched up well against Wheres the Gold and put up alot of unanswered buckets to mount up the lead and the win. Joel RJ led all scorers on a solid 15 points worth of buckets in the win. . Sam T helped out with the load getting 5 point performance. simply taking over and stifling most of their scorers expect for, Joel let it fly and hit more than missed with 14 points recorded by the bench , Darcy S ended up with an efficient 5 points but a loss unfortunately . Air Ballers getting hyped again and using the energy to convert it to Wins! Wheres the Gold weren’t sure how to react and they game got chippy, both teams going for every loose ball. Wheres the Goldwere just short on some plays with their shots falling short, Air Ballers pounced on them and converted their steals to points too and sit in equal 1st on a 3 game win streak going into the holidays.
