1st quarter started off with the two teams puttin up some nice plays and seemed to be playing the right defense against each other as the game was a back and forth battle with neither team giving the other a chance to get ahead. Dan W was started off hot with 7 points in the quarter but Nate P was punishing the defense with 3 big downtown bombs that kept he Hogz in the game and in control. Alex R was also on target this game with 6 in the quarter on some smooth jumpers. Tim W was a beast in side already with 6 also as the Streetfighters did their damage inside whilst Hogz was attacking from outside, which tacitc would succeed?
2nd quarter was the quarter that turned the game as the Streetfighters got outa of the gates pushing the ball and working the passes around to the open shooters who got their eye in, Ethan with 2 threes so far as everyone on the team bought into the system and stepped up the hustle on defense to get some crucial stops and take the quarter by 11 points. Johnny started heating up as he ran the offense swinging the Streetfighters defense to get some open looks for their snipers. Hogz had some work to do after this quarter with Streetfighters having the edge and the momentum this quarter as the 2nd half was upon them.
3rd quarter tipped off with teh defense being switched up for Streetfighters, keeping the Hogz guessing and running harder to get free from the ball denial being put on display. Tim W was clogging up the middle making problems for the smaller Hogz defenders as Alex R continued his eficient game hitting mid rangers just out of the range of the Hogz defenders with 13 points so far in the game. The rebounds were pretty even as the Hogz hustled hard to compete on the boards, the Streetfighters were shooting 44% from the field to Hogz' 30% whichw as a result of the close defense being played.
4th quarter was simliar to the last 2 quarters, the Hogz desperately trying to mount up a run and stop the steady from of points from Streetfighters as Lachy ran the offense finding shots for the team. Hogz had Johnny get some numbers as he lit up from 3 whilst getting his assist numbers up as well feeding the team. Lachy CR kept up the attack and ended up with some great numbers also in this quarter to close out the game by 20 points in the end, the defense being played was instrumental to the win as the offense came naturally to the defending champs who do it again...back to back!!!
Top performers this game for Hogz were johnny M with the Game high double double 22 points and 10 assists supported by Nate P on 12 points and Dan W on 8 points in the loss for the well accomplished Hogz. Streetfighters had some big numbers from alot of the team! Lachy CR with possibly the only grand finals triple double in UBL history wtih 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, a big game for the floor general. Alex R with the biggest game of his life as he hit 6 of 8 shots for his 15 points a solid effort at the perfect time! Tim W was also strong with 14 points and Ethan L put in 11 pts and 5 assists to clinch the W!
Well done to the Hogz who finish their season after this game as they go down to a strong team. The victor was to be the Streetfighters , the defending champs who put out a strong performance in this game securing the win and Championships for the franchise, back to back!

1st quarter started with all the action being played out inside, the paint getting busy with the extra passes and cuts taking advantage of the movemnet from the small ballin 50 shades. Teejae K got our to a great start htiting 5 of 5 field goals to lead his team with 10 for the quarter folowed by Joah FG and Jimmy L on 4 each. Ethan started shooting well this game with a 7 point quarter keeping the FUmblerz in the game despite the 50 shades crew winning the quarter by 10 points, a gap the Fumblerz would need to cover to get a chance to steal the chip...
2nd quarter was all 50 shades of Klay as the flowing offense was working a treat against the Fumblerz zone defense. The Fumblerz werent doing their usual damage inside and were looking to get shots up, but they werent falling from distance and they kept up the defense to try and limit the surging 50 shades who outscored them again by 10ish to lead 33-12 making big uphill battle for Fumblerz in the 2nd half. Teejae K had 14 so far and Joah FG with 9pts and 12 rebs for 50 shades. Ethan had 7 up till this points and Jacob on 4points as they started to loosen up going into the 2nd half.
3rd quarter had the Fumblerz come out strong as Dru started to get going as well as Danny B who was finding some success from the midrange. 50 shades switched up the D and back back with a run of their own and got back to the lead they had in the 1st half using their hustle and structure to get good shots and stops. IT was back and forth this quarter and 50 shades was up by 19 after this one was done and we looked to the last 12 mins of the game to see if Fumblerz could find a miracle and catch up to eh streaking 50 shades.
4th quarter was the quarter where it could have gone either way, but this time it was a 20 point gap that which has never been recovered from in UBL history in the Grand Finals. But Fumblerz gave it a go, and was only able to win the quarter for a short time before 50 shades came surging back to keep the gap at 20 which stood till the finall buzzer, Fumblerz not able to cover the spread this game from the big hole built up over the course of the game.
Top performers this game for Fumblerz were Danny B on 10 points and 8 rebs, Will P with 7pts and 12 rebs and the team leader this game was Jacob H with 13 points and 8 rebounds. The 50 shades crew had some solid numbers as Teejae K gets the game high and MVP performance of 29 points and 6 rebs on 57% shooting! Joah Fg with a monster game and double double 15points and 20 rebounds.James L was getting buckets with 13 pts and 5 rebs.
Fumblerz played so well this season and just fell short in the big game to a solid team with a bunch of very experenced players that got the job done this game with a dominant performance.

1st quarter action started off with some heavy defense being played on both ends, but more offense was being output by Prestige Worldwide who had Sam B come out hungry for some buckets and the lead putting in work for 12 points in the quarter on 50% shooting, the Ks Buckets had Callum and Ed D start off strong with 4 and 3 each to get their total to 11 which was not as much points wise, the Prestige Worldwide crew up by 6 points in the game. Prestige outscoring KS Buckets 17-9 in the quarter. So far both teams playing hard and not letting anything go to chance!
2nd quarter would start out with the ball going up and down the court as the fast break was active and keeping the pace of the game at a high level that you can only expect from the top 2 teams in the div. Cooper C had 9 points so far on 57% shooting and the other boys heating up slowly but were down by 9 points by teh end of this 12 mins. Sam B had 15 so far in the game and Jarod F on 6 and Prestige Worldwide leading the rebounds 22 to 14 in the game which was a factor in this quarter and the game so far.
3rd quarter was just too close to call as the two teams went back and forth trading baskets not really affecting the scoreline, Sam B was on fire this quarter getting 9 points in a barrage of scoring runs which stunned the KS Buckets who answered back with some Cooper C dribes and some shots from Ed and Freddie who were heavily contested on some of their shots. the gap in score would stand at 10 as Prestige was winning the boards 35-25 but shooting the same percentage as KS Buckets in the game so far!
4th quarter was all about defense as both teams locked down for the final 12 minutes. Sam was contained this quarter but Jarod F got going and everyone got a few points to keep up the scoring. Cooper kept his pressure on the inside for KS Buckets and Freddie was attacking from the outside trying to get the boys back in the game. Prestige was not letting up and kept up the pressure till the final siren, increasing their lead slightly with some good time management.
Top performers this game for KS Buckets was Cooper C on 15 points and 10 rebounds, a solid double double in the finals. Freddie F cane in 2nd with 9 points and 7rebs, whilst Ed B put in 5 to help out. From Prestige Worldwide we had the two headed attack of Jardod F on 10 points and the MVP performance from Sam B with 24 points and 14 rebounds on 50% shooting!
Well done to KS Buckets who had a great season in a tough Div but fell to a more experienced Prestige world wide! Prestige are crowned Champions of Division 3!

Watch Family Guys vs SUGAR DUNKERTONS!

1st quarter started out with both teams being super careful with the ball and making sure they box out and put their best effort in on Defense. Family Guys came out strong with Max catching fire early hitting 2 of 2 3 pointers to start things off and give a big lead to Family Guys. Sugar Dunkertons had a few start to score, but only able to put up 6 points to their 14 giving them a mission to catch up in the 2nd quarter.
2nd quarter saw the scoring pick up with more players getting involved and putting in some work scoring. Dan M for Family Guys was firing at will and already had close to a double double at the end of this quarter with 9pts and 8rebounds. Tim M started to heat up with 5 in the game so far as the Sugar Dunkertons put some extra effort in getting their fast break going with Jake G getting 4 points and Eric P 5 in the game so far to help try and catch up before the game slips away. Family Guys up by 13 at the half but needed to clean up their turnovers which they were 9-2 showing that the Sugar Dunkertons were active on D.
3rd quarter is when the game can be decided and this quarter the Family Guys bigs put in work to start outrebounding Sugar Ds as they put their total up to 51 to their 43, the 2nd chance points helped keeping the scoreline in their favor. Lonhro was playing well putting in work on drives and some threes with 6 in the game so far to help the team out. Will was managing the paint with 5 points in the game as Tim M kept up the shooting with 7 in the game so far. Family guys getting 7 more points this quarter to help with the total. Sugar Dunkertons had jordan hit a few and Adam M add to their total but they were getting the roll on their shots or getting some lucky rebounds as they sunk deeper into a 20 points deficit which they sought to unravel in the 4th by some miracle!
4th quarter was the alst chance for Sugar Dunkertons to make their run and see if Family Guys can withstand the full attack from them in the last 12 minutes. Jordan K helped with the run as Waly got his total up to 7 but the defense was on show now from Sugar Dunkertons , forcing more turnovers and hitting some well timed shots to make a run in the 4th to the effect of 18-6. The 12 points was a huge surge of scoring but still fell short of the total in the long game. Family Guys win the game by 8 points. Sonny Lonhro and Max showing up big time this game combining for almost 20 points and half the teams' total in the solid win in the Grand Finals!
Top performers this game for Sugar Dunkertons were Adam M with 12 points and 11 rebounds a solid Double Double in the Grand Finals. Jordan K scored well with 8 points and 6 rebs, and Eric and Waly got to 6 points in the loss for the boys after a great season competing hard but just falling short this game! Family GUys had Dan M top score with 19 points and 17 rebounds, a monster game in Div 4 that was needed to win this finals. Pete did his role and passed the ball well and snatched a huge 15 boards to help the team big time. Tim M was on 11 points and 10 rebounds, a sneaky double double as he did his job this game. Will also grabbed 10 rebounds as Lonhro, Max and Sonny combined for almost 20!
Family Guys are crowned Division 4 Champions this season after a long and testing season on their troops, the final result was well deserved to the Father son team who played well as a team and overcame all odds to be the best this season!
Well done to all who competed this season! It was a long season and big respect to the ballers for sticking through it! Stay tuned for next season! When UBL Returns Mid June!
