Benders got a good first ever win on the forever hustling FAT PACK in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Top scorers in this game were, EJ ( 25 ) top scoring for his team, & Kalos H ( 20 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Ethan W ( 12 ) , & Heath B ( 7 ). Benders starting off the season with a win and put together a good game whilst missing a few pieces, Kalos stepped up big time with buckets from everywhere whilst EJ led the way with the game high. Benders were able to limit FAT PACK who displayed a great passing game getting everyone involved in their first loss. Ethan and Heath combined for 19 as FAT PACK look so bounce back next game.

Shaqtin' a Fools shot the lights out against a helpless Bone Collectors and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Top point getters in this game were, Lachy CR ( 38 ) leading his team & Andy K ( 9 ) . The other teams' top scorers were; Reggie ( 24 ) , & Tim S ( 20 ). Shaqtin' a Fools had a challenge on their hands as the other team was stacked with offensive weapons. Shaqtin' a Fools were down but kept their structure to fight back and unleash Lachy CR who was 2 points off a 40 piece taking apart everyone that Bone Collectors threw at him. Reggie and Tim were firing and smashign down Js but the Bone Collectors take the L against the defending champs this first round!

Scoregasms just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Dellys Disciples in a back and forth game holding the crowd in suspense Top performers in this game were, Nick ( 22 ) leading the way & Steven ( 19 ) . Their opponents had top scorers too, and they were; Sean Q ( 26 ) , & Critchton ( 16 ) Scoregasms keen to get on the court and foudn themselves in a back and forth game with Dellys Disciples who had their bigs Sean and Critchton combine for 42 in the loss against a tough Scoregasms crew who just wouldnt go down putting the ball in Nicks hands who hit the go ahead shot not leaving enough time for Dellys Disciples to get another chance to score.

Buckled knees matched up well against Blue Magic in a game that started close but ended one sided. Top scorers in this game were, Ronan ( 11 ) leading the way & Dave Gooden ( 9 ) Dimitri Skarvelis ( 27 ) Gordan Despotovski ( 4 ). Buckled knees Buckled knees getting a good game together whilst not being able to limit the offense massacre from Dimi S who notched 27 in the loss by a bunch of points. Blue Magic unable to stop the spread coring effort from Buckled knees which saw them take the lead and not give it back in the 2nd half giving Blue Magic their first loss of the season!

Gong Heavy knew what they had to do against Dunkings and was able to get the much needed win. Top scorers in this game were, Paul Galea ( 24 ) leading the way & Ali Mousavi ( 19 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Hayden Arton ( 15 ) , & Sam Branch ( 11 ). Gong Heavy getting out of trouble in this one as they were able to ge their slashing guards to combine for 43 as Paul and Ali get at it to take the lead in the 2nd and resists 2 back to back 3s from Sam B at the end to bring the game within 3. Gong Heavy take this win despite the Dunkings getting a good scoring night from Hayden the beard but cop the L for the first time this season.

TC Drillerz started strong and got the jump on Orange Peelers who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Top scorers in this game were, Liam S ( 33 ) getting the team high in points & Liam F ( 23 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Amura J ( 14 ) leading his squad , & Ziad ( 7 ). TC Drillerz were on fire this game led by Liam Ss big 33 to stun the league and the Orange Peelers who had Amura hitting big shots as he and Ziad combined for 21 which wasnt enough to overcome the TC Drillerz attacking game getting them the easy win this round.

Average Joes took the game second half from the Double Dribble in this round which would result in a great match. Top scorers in this game were, Danny Barbz ( 16 ) leading his team & Will ( 16 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Shane R ( 19 ) , & David ( 15 ). Average Joes getting their first win in a higher Div as they were able to work around the Double Dribble defense who had Shane R step up bwith game high and David helped out with 15 in the loss. Average Joes has Barbz and Will go off for 16 each which was the back breaker for Double Dribble who lose this one.

Pippin aint easy wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Sweeet Azz in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Top scorers in this game were, Giovanni N ( 16 ) leading his team & Curtis B (14) & Anthony K ( 13 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Pheonix J ( 21 ) , & Mana ( 10 ). Pippin aint easy coming out firing with their running game on display, Pheonix, and Manas combined 41 wasnt enough as the 3 headed attack of Giovanni Curtis and Anthony K combined for 43 in the win for Pippin aint easy . Sweeet Azz take the L this game as they adjust to soem new opponenets this season.

Airballers got a good win on the Bandicoots and pushed it all the way to the end. Top scorers in this game were, Sam Thorndike ( 13 ) getting team high in the win & Brayden Silk ( 12 ) Dimitri Skarvelis ( 27 ) stepping up for his team Gordan Despotovski ( 4 ). Airballers bringing it home this game as they hit some big shots to break the spirits of the Bandicoots who had Brayden get some buckets to go but not able to put enough runs together to slow the Airballers offense. Bandicoots take their first loss of the season in a close game.

Illawarriors took the court vs Chef City and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Top scorers in this game were, Dennis ( 14 ) top scoring for his team, & Zen ( 8 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Mana K ( 13 ) , & Malokai F ( 6 ). Illawarriors looked good as they win their first game of the season and look to continue their strong play this game behidn Dennis and Zens combined 22 giving Illawarriors the edge over the hyped up Chef City crew led by Mana and Malokai in the loss this round by only 4 points!.
