1st quarter Coffee Club came out with some strategy and immediately got to scoring and getting it to their big men inside, Anthony G going 6 for 7 with 13 points in the quarter, slow stepping and getting where he needed to to get the bucket. Jon G was big time on the cuts to make options for his teamates to get the ball to him. Circle Dirk started slow and only shot 21% from the field this quarter, a tough ask to get buckets inside, but the 3 ball wasnt falling either. They were in a 22-7 hole to start the game and looked to try get more luck in the 2nd quarter.
2nd quarter Circle Dirk still were finding it hard to get inside with so many bodies in the paint. There were a few sparks on offense Lachlan W was hitting hit jumper for 5 points so far and Hatchy too who was looking for his 3 ball which is usually consistent. Wade D for Coffee Club got his jumper to land a few times making the D pay for not guarding him.Coffee Club still had the advantage going into the 3rd leading the game by 13 points at this point. Still a gettable game for Circle Dirk but it would be tough with so much momentum with the boys in white Ts
3rd quarter Coffee Club got everyone involved and built on the lead, James H hitting 2 threes so far showing that all the luck was with his team. Hatchy was leading the way for his team at this point with 12 and Lachlan W with 8, but everyone else wasnt having much luck getting some scoring runs together. Circle Dirk shooting 27% to Coffee Clubs 51% and were losing the battle of the boards 27-19. With 12 minutes left to play, Circle Dirk would need a perfect quarter to catch up, 24 points the gap.
4th quarter saw Circle Dirk try everything they could to catch up , and were playing well, the 2nd half they actually won with the scoring at 31-29 but they just couldnt recover from the 1st half where Coffee Club outscored them by 38- 15. Both teams balled out and the bigger team won this game playing team ball and getting a huge game from Giggz who dominated this game from the paint. Coffee Club get this one to go and win another championship in Div2, looking forward to the next challenge in Div 1!
Top Performers from Coffee Club was Anthony G on 25 points 12 reounds, Wade D on 13 point on 75% shooting and John C with a near double double 8 and 8! Circle Dirk had some good statlines despite the result, Hatchy on 15 points 4 steals, Joel landed on 12 points, Lachlan R with a near triple-double of 8points 10 rebounds and 9 assists and 4 steals!

1st quarter Red Devils were fired up and looking strong on both ends this game, keen to get their first UBL chip this season if all went to plan, and it was so far with Lee and Bryan hitting a trey each and combining for 10 in the quarter. Airballers were undersized but small ballin and getting some buckets to fall this quarter, Thomas led the way with a big three but they were only able to score 7 in the quarter on 13% shooting.
2nd quarter Airballers still struggling to break the defensive line from Red Devils who had the duo Bryan and Lee step up and keep the pressure on the D, Lee was huge this quarter getting some nice buckets and and1s to go pumping the team up to keep up the pace and lock down the Airballers on D which they did and limited them to 4 points! It was tough going for Airballers who were competing well on the glass outrebounding Red Devils by 1. They would need a big 2nd half to cover the 13 point lead that Red Devils had built to this point.
3rd quarter Red Devils kept pushing and looking for their hot shooters, Bryan F getting into the lane for a few Js and a 14 point performance so far leading the team with Lee K on 9 to help out. Airballerswere able to get some scoring runs together , Matt P with 6 in the game so far and everyone in the team had scored almost but noone really getting hot. The turnovers mounted up from both teams Red Devils losing the ball 17 to 13 times from Airballers. Matt S and Lee D pitching in with 12 combined in the game so far. the lead was up to 18, a big ask for Airballers to come back but they put their heads down and locked in for the 4th quarter
4th quarter Airballers summoned everything they had, reached into their bags and tried to pull off a great comeback, but the Red Devils had too much momentum and too much drive to get this W. The shooting from Airballers was the factor this game as Red Devils were playing great defense and not letting any loose ball get away from them. The hustle got them through and they are now crowned Div 2 champions after an epic game from the veterans of Red Devils!
Top Performers from Red Devils were Bryan F on 16 points 6 rebounds, lee K on 9 points 6rebs and 2 steals , Cam H with 5 assists in the game as he played the PG role well to get the W. Airballers had Matt P on 6 points 7 rebounds, Brody M, Corey and Taj B each getting 4 in the loss.

1st quarter Kings kept things inside and 3 points line and did well this game to make their contested looks. Noah was perfect from inside with 4 points and James F started off his game with a solid 5 points and 3 rebs. Super Chads were looking to get up quick and put some 3s up this quarter but only hitting 1 from Sam C who was doing his best to floor general the game from the top. Kings had a 6 point lead at the end of 12, stil anyones game at this point.
2nd quarter Super Chads had more luck hitting the three and was doing well holding onto the ball with only 3 turnovers so far to the Kings 10. But the big stat was the rebounds as Kings were on 24 and Chads on 15 the 9rebs difference giving Kings 2nd chance points and were able to keep the lead by 6 this quarter.
3rd quarter Kings were able to keep momentum and control of the pace, limiting the Super Chads in scoring in bunches. Jordan and Harry getting a three to go at this point in the game helping Chads try to cover the gap, Sam C kept pushing the ball inside and kicking to shooters and Nick B had great hands with 3 steals so far. Chris O lit up the mid range and was cruising with 9 points in the game so far getting to his spots and making them count. Kings now outrebounding Chads by 13.
4th quarter Super Chads looked to make a run this quarter, the scoreline was 10ish and they just needed a few consecutive buckets and some stops to catch up, but the Kings were playing too well as they closed the quarter with a similar lead from the 3rd.. Sam H was owning the boards with Nick B with 7 each for their team, but the Kings were hitting their shots, Noah and James F still shooting efficiently as they swung the ball and shifted the Chads' zone defense. The lead established earlier was too much to come back from with the shooting percentage from Chads at 25% for the game and 36% for Kings. Kings won the boards by 11 which made the difference in this match which ended up as a 6 point game by the end of it. Kings crowned Champions for Div 4 after a strong showing from the squad.
Top Performers from Kings were Noah B on 10 points on 71% shooting and 4 assists, James F notches a finals double-double with 11points 12 rebs in a solid for him! Chris O put in the top honors for scoring leading his team with 12 points on 42% shooting. Super Chads had some good production from players, Sam Conti who led his team with 10 and 5 assists, Jordan B on 9 points and 5 rebs, Nick B on 7 points and 7 rebounds to go with his 3 steals in the heartbreaking loss for the Super Chads
