1st place Scorgasms started strong and got the jump on 2nd ranked Air Jellem in a game that started close but ended one sided. Top scorers in this game were, Jordan H ( 16 ) top scoring for his team, & Fraser ( 11 ) . The opponents top scorers were; Tim K ( 14 ) , & Cody C ( 9 ) .
1st quarter Scorgasms Immediately got out running and warming into their shots with everyone getting touches and almost everyone getting points in the first quarter...Jordy started off strong with five points so far the team shooting 50% from the field to have the slight edge by two points after the quarter finished...Air Jellem we're looking to get their big men engaged and had Cody and Tim combine for 9 points of their 14 in the quarter while Jarryd and Bryce put in a few jumpers for the rest of the points... Air jellem playing great defence this quarter winning the steals category 6 to Scorgasms 2.
2nd quarter Air Jellem Stepped up the hustle and the defence and more so the rebounds as they pulled in almost seven more rebounds this quarter mainly offensive which allowed them to get second chance points through contact getting them to the line all of which combined for a productive quarter leaving them three points ahead at the halftime break... Tim was still being a beast down low getting some tough layups to go down and huge rebounds... Cody and Jarryd kept on putting pressure on the defence still scoring well till now... The quarter was a low scoring defensive standoff as both teams not able to get over 10 points.. Scorgasms Only managing to get four points and we're out scored by only five points and they were not looking like the usual high volume scoring machine this half.. at this point Air Jellem led the way in rebounds steels and assist shooting about the same percentage as their opponent and they were able to take care of the ball a little bit better and still led the way in steals by five...Scorgasms started really slow and were losing in most categories but was shooting 2% higher from the field but with the game only one basket difference it was anyone's going into the second half..
3rd Quarter Scorgasms Stepped it up another level and went crazy this quarter putting together a 20 to 5 run in the 12 minutes using their speed and hustle to get their boys running on the break and score in bunches... Jordy kept on pushing with the game higher so far with 14 and Steven M was lighting up the three and hitting his jumpers to combine with Fraser who also got nine points as he weaved his way through the fast break defenders to finish at the cup many times over all of which combined to put the boys up 12 points after this quarter...Jarryd T is having some luck with his jump shot so far with 7 points but it was mainly down low where the activity was happening but just not this quarter as they were stifled on offence with some smothering D... With the momentum shifted completely, could Air Jellem find a hero to bring them back and save their championship hopes in the fourth quarter?
4th Quarter Air Jellem Both teams playing more careful but still keeping up the pace with near the team letting down until the final buzzer... Scorgasms we're able to keep putting in consistent baskets this quarter to maintain their lead despite some strong performances in the 12 minutes from Kodi who scored six in the quarter as all the boys helped out on rebounds to try and get extra chances to shoot but they were trying to get back in the game with three pointers which just weren't landing thus far... Time ticked away and the final buzzer sounded crowning Scorgasms as back to back to back to back champions!
Top performers from Scorgasms were Jordy H had 16 points six rebounds and two steals... Steven M shotwell with nine points on 38% shooting.. Nick G headed up later in the game and putting some crucial shots with 10 points and 7 rebounds.. Fraser dictated the pace on the break and put in 11 points and 9 rebounds to almost get a double double in the win for the defending champions
Air Jellem also had some good stats, Jarryd T played well this playoff game with seven points to add to his 10 rebounds and three assists.. Cody C put in some big work with almost a double double on 11 points and 9 rebounds on 40% shooting...Wriggy hit a few threes with six points and six rebounds and the big stat line went to Tim K who bagged 15 rebounds to go with his 12 points and a huge seven steals shooting 60% from the field!

2nd ranked Buckled Knees wins a resounding victory over the unlucky 1st place Pack a Punch and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Top point getters in this game were, Luke H ( 25 ) leading his team & LACHLAN W ( 19 ) . The other teams' top scorers were; Jake P ( 32 ) , & Sam B & Ryan G ( 8ea ) .
1st quarter Buckled Knees Have been here before and look to start strong this quarter as they launched a few three-pointers but only made one in the quarter but inside the paint was working well and a super hot start from Lachlan W helped also not missing a shot at the start of the game getting 9 points in the quarter but his team was down by 4 points due to the even hotter start from Jake P who was simply off of his head this game and started with four out of four shots from three point land made by him giving him 12 points in the quarter and his team with a small advantage going into the second..
2nd quarter Pack a Punch knew that Buckled knees Weren't going to let this lead go easily and kept the pressure on and by that I mean feed the hot hand being Jake P who continued his great play getting another 6 points in the quarter to give him 18 for the first 24 minutes... Sam was aggressive on the break and was helping out to lock down on defence while Sannie around the point well with three assists so far... The rest of the teams that's were pretty even with both teams on 21 rebounds and shooting a similar clip to each other.. The difference in points was only one.. buckle knees had taken back control of the game as they look to the second half to try and build on it...
3rd Quarter Buckled Knees Still able to keep up the attack and the pace despite the long game as they used the locked in Forward Guard combination of Lachlan W and Luke H who at this point had scored close to 40 points between them carrying the team and shooting just below 50% each causing some problems for pack a punch who looked to be relying on Jake P's hot game which kept on going with his total being at 26 so far... A truly play off mode transformation from Jake P! All other stats were even mostly accept for buckled knees having four more steels which made all the difference in this 7 point gap in school as we headed to the 4th quarter
4th Quarter Pack a Punch Were able to bring it back a bit using some veteran smarts and a few scoring runs after some tough stops on defence... This quarter Jake P finished the game off with an extra 5 points and so did Ryan G who was starting to hit his jumpers as the game went on...Sam B scored six in the quarter but they were still just a little short in the end due to the hot offensive display by Luke H who was able to score seven in the quarter and push the break making his opponents run and get tired which all added up to them creeping ahead by two baskets in the end..Lachlan W getting some tidy step backs to fall and Scotty got inside for a couple of finishes also ...Blake did a good job facilitating in the game so far which helped out in the long run as the boys got over the line and it were crowned division 2 champions for this season!
Top performers from Buckled Knees were Scotty M had an up and down night but managed to put in a huge effort on the rebounds with 15 of those and 7 points to go with a couple of steels and assist.. Lachlan W was the standout this game with a super efficient 47% from the field to get 19 points and 11 rebounds to go with his four seals a truly huge MVP effort They came out of nowhere! And co MVP would be Luke Hatchy Who put together a solid all-round game getting 25 points 9 rebounds for assists on 40% shooting and handling the ball a crucial times to keep control of the game.. Blake was selfless this game dishing out full assist to add to his six rebounds and four points... The whole team put in a big effort to get this overline and hold on to their small lead that they had built during the match...
Pack a Punch also had some good stats, Sam B with 8 points and 4 rebounds.. Kodi was the rebound specialist with six of those and Ryan G was all over the stats with 9 points 7 rebounds and a pair of assists and steels.. Sannie was playing his role very well as he gathered six dimes to go with his 8 rebounds .. Jake P was a monster this game scoring a whopping 31 points and 12 rebounds shooting 40% from three point land to which he hit eight three pointers a playoff and career high for him and possible playoff record for UBL in 2 Thursdays... Pack a punch had a great season but go down to a veteran crew of Ballers who have been grinding for a while to get a championship this time around..
Well done and good effort to pack a punch who fought hard or game and didn't let down till the final siren...

1st place Dribbling Sea-men shot the lights out against a helpless 2nd ranked Daddy Day Care and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Top performers in this game were, Matthew Stephen ( 14 ) leading the way & Johnny Micallef ( 10 ) . Their opponents had top scorers too, and they were; Jack Grant ( 8 ) , & Jaden H ( 8 ) .
1st half Dribbling Sea-men Got to work straight away and their scorers will locked in and ready to shoot as they got Johnny and Matty to combine for 10 points in the quarter while everyone else got a bucket to start to warm up for the game ahead.. Jack G was pumped to be playing and looked to own the paint which he did well so far this half already collecting seven rebounds to go with his three points... Jaden H was doing a good job on both ends with four rebounds and three points so far while Mitch and Tye got a bucket each as the boys tried to get their big man going but it would have to wait till the second half as they were down by eight after 20 minutes and would need a quick answer to try and come back and save their grand final hopes..
The stats told the story so far with dribbling Seamen owning the boards 30 to 21.. But they also turned over the ball four more times trying to get some tricky plays to come off as the boys started grooving and look to have momentum going into the second half with an 8-point lead
2nd half Daddy Day Care Changed up some things on defence and tried to make a dent in the score line early through some big shots from Jack G and Mitch are who was scoring a couple as the game went on... Sam got a couple of buckets on the inside but was heavily guarded... Jaden Page got to the line this quarter and hit a three to try and bring the boys back but it was not happening this game as their shots rimmed out and they weren't able to find an answer despite a lot of hustle on display... Dribbling Seamen kept looking for their outside shot which was paying dividends this game as they had hit six more threes than daddy daycare which made all the difference mounting up to double on their lead from the previous quarter to finish the game in a dominant way just like how they had started...
Top performers from Dribbling Sea-men were Johnny M had 10 points 8 rebounds and 5 assists making sure he found the right play and the right scorer in the right spot... He was helped by Harry W who got hot mid game hitting back to back threes opening up the score line and Luke Rich was hammering the rebounds this game with 15 of them combined with some big defensive stops in the way of swats with three blocks to add to his four points... Seth G rolled in late button managed eight points and eight rebounds to contribute to victory but the big stat line this game was Matty S who got 14 points five rebounds and four assists on 45% shooting and was the resident sniper this game being set up by everyone to make his looks count and manage the victory...
Daddy Day Care also had some good stats, Jack Grant with an almost double double playoff grand finals performance with 11 rebounds to add to his eight points.. Mitch R warmed up late but was able to get seven points five rebounds and three assists..Jaden H had a pretty good all-around game on both ends with eight points and five rebounds hitting his free-throws and trying to be a brick wall on defence... Sam B did well on the glass with a rebounds but overall they needed a bit more from everyone as well as some luck to try and overcome the juggernaut team they were faced with
