1st quarter started With neither team seeming to get the advantage as both warmed up in the cold night with some running on the break and defence was locked down from both teams...Andy K started things well inside the paint getting five in there quarter and the opposing beat man Alex R led his team before points giving them the one point lead after 12 minutes making for a great start to a seemingly tight game..
2nd quarter Saw some more scoring come from both teams as they whipped the ball around to try and find the open tutor but everything was contested..Fletcher starting getting some thing going inside with some tough drives and got to the line to capitalise on his efforts having 7 points and 8 rebounds in the game so far..Andy K kept drawing the defence inside and led The team at this point with 9 points but on the other side Scotty W started looking for his shot and Sam how who had combined for 11 in the game so far the two-point lead after 24 minutes...Killabeez we're winning the rebounds category by six at this point as they hustle hard for every rebound but they also turn the ball over five more times then cherry busters which would cause problems for them in the third quarter...
3rd quarter Was where the turn in the game happened as we saw Cherry Busters amp up the pace and hit the fast break up getting their guards out runnin and looking g to score...Sam H nailed consecutive three-pointers from deep to total three four the quarter enabling his team to take control of the momentum...Chris R started lighting up the mid range but was guarded heavily and allowed Cherry Buster's to enjoy an 11-point lead after the end of the quarter leaving only 12 minutes for Killabeez to find a 10-0 run and come back in this game...
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, Seemed to go the same way as the third quarter with the Killabeez unable to find a hot shooter but tried their best to find some points inside and at the line but their success was short lived as the bigs from cherry busters were all over the shooters and the rebounders catching up in that category and also increasing their lead by another 8 points to finish the game out up 19..
Top Performers this game from Cherry Busters . Sam H played an efficient game at PG with 14 points 8 rebounds, ALex R hit 13 points to equal game high sharing the load inside with Scotty W who pulled in a beast double double getting 12 points and 14 rebounds in the win.. And a great effort put in by the players on Killabeez....Andy K top scored with 12 points and 9 rebounds, almost getting a double-double as he worked his moves inside the paint and was complimented by Fletch who in fact did get a double-double with 11points and 14 rebounds! Ahmad got the game high in dimes!
The rivals finally meet after a long tough season and it was always meant to be these two teams but with the Cherry Busters hungry to get the title back, They turned up in a big way and dominated the depleted Killabeez Who put in a great effort but in the end won't able to stop the freight train that is the Cherry busters you are now Division 1 champions again!!

1st quarter started With both teams working to play and the pace was quick from the start from triple threat as Rory S started heating up with seven points in the quarter and he was helped out by an efficient tuning quarter from Jack N getting a three and two buckets to go inside to get seven as well which helped the team get the seven point lead after 12 minutes despite a couple of threes from Tim H which usually gets the team going as well as some tough inside shots made from Adam B Who was active this game in the high post...
2nd quarter Was where the game turned for the worst for silly Salmons, and they weren't able to keep up the pace this quarter allowing Wayde V to add to his scoring total, getting to the line and hitting a couple of tiny buckets inside bringing his total to nine in the game so far but and extra spark came from Jacomb this quarter with some big three pointers and a couple of buckets so far to allow them to limit Silly Salmons to only score eight in the quarter but they double their score with 16 and enjoyed a 15 point lead at the half without much difference in the stats except for rebounds which triple threat was winning in that category by six but more so the shooting percentage from triple threat was 50% compared to 31% from silly salmons which would set up the second half which was plenty of time for silly salmons to make a comeback...
3rd quarter Silly Salmons kept up in scoring this quarter but didn't make a dent in the lead they were trying to cover even though Adam B was being aggressive and getting inside to keep the points coming in, Tim H kept looking for his shot and was able to nail a few three pointers this game so far bringing his total up to 11 as well as Sam T you also had 11 from getting some strong drives to finish and hit his free throws...Wayde Jack and Rory kept up the attack on the middle not letting down as they defended the lead looking to close things out in the final 12 minutes..
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, Didn't see much of a difference in the score line and with consistent defence being played from triple threat it was a hard ask for silly salmon's to come back in this game even though Tim was trying to get his three point shot going the success they had came from the mid-range and on drives but that was limited and getting into foul trouble they sent the other team to the line too many times but still played hard right till the end folding their heads high as they unfortunately go home empty-handed this season giving the title to Triple Threat for the first time in their UBL history for their franchise...
Top Performers this game from Silly Salmons were Adam B getting the team high 17points 7 rebounds on 26% shooting, Tim H with 14 points and 5 rebounds hitting 4 threes, and Sam T with 14 hard earned points getting inside to the cup and hustling hard on D ...
And a great effort put in by the players on Triple Threat ....Rory S ended up on 13points 6 assists at the PG position, Jacomb had a great game on 16 points and 9 rebounds, a near double double, as well as Wayde V who stepped up big time with 13points and 9 rebs, But It was Jack N who took the top honour in scoring wth 18points and 7 rebs, 3 steal and 3 blocks! an MVP performance! Mitch L led the game in rebounds with 11 as Triple Threat take this title and look to back it up again next season after a solid showing against the tough teams this year so far!

1st half started With bothteams playing tentatively but the big man Senio from Giddeys u15s set the tone as he does each game and put in 13 points in the quarter and six rebounds giving his team an 11-point lead at the half and seemingly a straightforward victory but the Tune squad were not going away and this team lives and dies by the three on some games and they stuck to the plan but would need some efficient shooting to cover the gap ... Curtis W and Jesse S combined for 12 in the quarter and the team matched up on most statistics for the half But Giddeys was shooting near 50% and had four more rebounds and three more blocks giving them the slight advantage for now...
2nd half Saw the flow of the game change a little as the Tune squad started nailing there long-range shots...Jesse nailed 3, Curtis got 2 and Malachi got 1, which allowed them to catch up in the final minute to tie things up at 39 a piece...Senio kept up with the attack and looking for his jumper, which was causing all sorts of problems for the defence and the rest of the boys on the team all got a bucket or two to help out when they were open after the extra pass...with 5mins 40 seconds left the score was 37 - 32 with Tune Squad leading and seemingly in control..Senio went on a 8-0 run on his own to bring the game locked at 39 with 25 seconds. No further buckets and we headed to OVERTIME!
In the Overtime period, 3 minutes, The ball went back and forth but with the nerves at a high level both teams seemingly didn't know who to go to but Senio stepped up and hit the only shot of the final 3 minutes to total his score at 26 and give his team a 1 point advantage after a made free throw from Tune Squad... And that was the final score, Giddeys net their First UBL championship in clutch fashion as the MVP and leading scorer in the entire UBL regular season closed the game and his team goes home Champions!
Top Performers this game from . Giddeys u15s .Senio with the MVP statline 28points 16 rebounds and 4 blocks on 40% shooting, a title clinching performance by Senio! Scott P had a good all round game with 4pts and 5 rebounds on 67% shooting, playing a great support role along with Denver who was ready to hit the three this game.
.. And a great effort put in by the players on ....Tune Squad, Curtis W on 14points shooting 42% from the field, David R dominated on rebounds with 10, the team high, and Jesse S has a solid outing with 14points on 42%FG and 4 assists!
A great effort by Tune Squad to make a huge comeback and force overtime but in the end it came down to a clutch moment that just wasn't answered this time around and they go home early but hold their heads high after taking it to many of the top teams this season..

1st half started And it was back and forth basketball as both teams got out running and shooting in volume...Jye was hitting and putting up his 3ball from Small Fry's but as the time ticked on, they seemed to be on the back foot in the first half as they came out strongly. Only to see the Seeker Buckets come back and tie the game up by half time behind some solid shooting from Bryan F Who had 12 points in the quarter on 80% shooting, nailing everything from his spots and he had a slew of help with Ben Michael and Trotty combining for just under 15 points to help out with the effort and the second half would be a short tell of who has been putting work in off the court... At this point in the game most of the stats were pretty even with both teams shooting between 30 and 35% from the field..Small Fys led in the rebounds category by six but not much separated the two teams, making it anyone's game in the second half...
2nd half The score went back and forth but the Small Fry's seem to have more momentum getting some quick shots up on the board but by the middle of the half, after some lockdown defence, Seeker Buckets went on a tidy scoring run...with 7 mins left, Seeker Buckets took the lead... But it was short-lived as the shooters from Small Fry's logged in and Justin was huge this quarter scoring 13 points to surge his team ahead he was helped out by some big rebounds and hustle plays inside from Jonah Marley and Cody...Bryan added to his total in the second half scoring an extra 10 points still maintaining a good clip on 50% but then was able to nail a couple of threes which helped keep the boys in it for a bit but in the final minute in garbage time the fate of Seeker Buckets would be sealed..
With bodies flying everywhere, the scores were locked and it as time for one team to make a move...Small Frys had Justin made an And1 with 1 min left, a crucial play, then Marley sealed it with 3 free throws, and Jonah another 2 free throws to put icing on the victory cake..
Top Performers this game from Seeker Buckets were Bryan F who played a great Finals game with 22 points and 7 rebs on 50% shooting, keeping his team in the hunt at times hitting some crucial shots, Ben A was playing well and hitting his 3ball with 11points, and Jed D helped out heap son Rebounds with 7 to equal the game high with Bryan. . ... And a great effort put in by the players on Small Fry's....
