Tuesday UBL is slowly growing, the 2 divisions have had teams step up to div 1 and also new players join to get experience and one day make it up to the big leagues…this season played out like it was meant to, top teams facing off int he playoffs, but the finals was a little different in div1.
Div 1 saw the matchup of an awkward 1st ladder team Delly Lamas vs bottm run and defending champs, FreeBallers.
After a flailing season, Freeballers hustled hard and made it through the tough playoffs to make a rematch of last years grand finals, but it would play out differently this time. FreeBallers last year got the lead quickly and defended it, this time Dellys came out firing, pushing the full court defense, and pressuring the ball carriers every step up the court, the score at halftime would show the Lamas up by 10.
FreeBallers bounced back, Andy K running point with 8 points, Kitto with 8 and Aiman with 8. A Wahbi was on a mission, putting up the shots that built a 20 point output which made the difference, the sheer hustle out played the bigs and veterans of the Freeballers missing their points guard Geezee.
And in the end the score was closer than expected, Delly Lamas taking the big victory and revenge from last year with a victory and the ultimate prize. Congrats and well done on a great season and a hard fought finals, Freeballers, keep up the tempo, 2 finals showings cant be an accident!

Division 2 was an interesting matchup of lopsided numbers, Monstars shaken by the loss of 2 players due to discipinary action, and down on personell, they still took court and pushed forward with all they had.
