Season 3 is over! THe Grand finals is here and the ballers step on the court to face off for the last time this season, a long one, but it went down like this….
First up was Dunkings vs Flaming Anteaters…with some players missing from each side including Michael B, Dunkings had their work cut out, game started shaky both teams warming up,
After the 1st buzzer it was 9 TO 8 with dunkings in the lead after a quarter of play, Sam B with 3 points and 6 rebounds (5 offensive) already, with DUnkings shooting 33% to Anteaters 29% James T with 7 points and 5 rebounds to go head to head with Sam.
21-18 at the half going the way of DUnkings on some nice buckets by Jacob G with 7points for the quarter, matched by Ryan G with 7 also! BOth teams shooting the same percentage but Anteaters slightly more boards. Jacob leads all scorers so far with 9 followed by James T on 8 pts 8 rebs on AE..
26-25 with dunkings in the lead after 3 quarters now, James T with 10 points and 15 boards, Ryan G on 7 pts 9 rebs for Ants, SAm B with 8 pts 13 rebs with 1 half left to sort out who would win and have the stamina to last the 48 minute game!
Flaming Anteaters end on a 16-6 run in the 4th, the big mentions to the unlucky Dunkings Sam B on 15 boards and 10 points, a solid double double, Jacob G game high with 15 and 5 rebounds, Jack C with 10 boards, but it wasnt enough as Captain Bryce stepped up with 14 massive points ina grand final game, Ryan G with a 12-10reb double double, and James T also getting on to the effect of 12 pts 18 huge rebounds!
Dunkings shot 18% from the field to Anteaters’ 26% enough to get the job done, the lack of Dunkings bigs showed as FA got 8 more rebounds and 3 more blocks, unlucky DUnkings!! a great season to finish 1st on the ladder!
Flaming ANteaters banded together to get a great win over a great team, well done!! and congrats….Div 3 champions!!!
Div 2 was ready to go and things started with both teams warming up, the shots a little flaky and as the nerves faded.
After the first quarter Wayne J looking to back up his claims putting in 7 points in the first with 4rebs, Mitch on 3 asts Mitch J on 5 rebs with Kayne and Danny heating up to 4 points each to start, Average Joes taking a different approach with an inside outside game trying to free up their main scorer, Reggie, with 7 to start Pete with 4 and Dan M with a solo 3 to get things moving towards the 2nd. THe Process shooting 44% from the field vs 31%, the rebound 14-8 the process giving them more shots.
At the half its 29-28 but Average Joes started to get momentum stealing the lead, The Process only shooting slightly better with 38%-33% FG percentage, WAyne J pushing the agenda with 10pts 6rebs, Mitch J on 9 rebs, and Kayne hitting the midrange with 9 whilst Reggie was starting to get some steam with 17 points, Pete already with 10 rebs and 2 blocks..the 2nd half was set to be a good one with everyone warmed up!
Third quarter had Average Joes make a big run 19-14 run edging them by 6 now and looking to hold the lead, Reggie stepped up the scoring with a total of 30 already to end the 3rd…everyone else pitched in helping him get that number and their own contributions, Pete the intangible man with 15 rebs and 3 blocks so far, WAyne J also stepped up with 17 points till this point, Danny B with some 3s for 12 so far. Jung on a monster 13 boards.
The fourth was wrapped up with the Joes keeping the same lead, some great effort to try get back in, but the attack and defense was constant from Average Joes, the game high and huge huge night and MVP performance for this game was REggie K who notched a massive 38 points 7 rebs on 54% shooting Dan M pitched in with 10 points and 4 dimes, and Peter, Pete the machine, getting huge boards with 20 as he played his role and beasted for his team on the glass.
Wayne J did his darndest to get things going with most of the damage down inside as he got 27 points on 55% shooting along with 12 rebs nad 4 assists, Mitch N got 5 asissts at point, and MItch J on 14 rebs, Danny B also a double double with 13 and 12boards…unlucky this time but huge effort to win 4th place and climb to the finals!
THe box score, showed that although down in the points, The Process had more rebounds by 2 more but the shot attempts for the were less due to the 6 more turnovers, a slightly better overall field goal percentage as Average Joes, and although getting more assists, 12-6.
Not much in it this time, 6 points on the closeout, next time could be different! Well done to the Process but this time the crown goes to Average Joes, unlucky in previous seasons now to have their effort pay off!
The Process continues to evolve its methods as we havnt seen the end of their actual process yet!
Average Joes Div2 CHAMPIONs!!!
Div 1, the main event, these two teams were set to face off;, as Shaqtn a fools smashed through the ranks to land a finals berth, great effort to now face the juggernaught Monstars…and its played out like this…
After the 1st quarter horn the score was 18- 14 Monstars…shooting 50% from the field to Shaqtns 33%, rebounds even, and almost everything else, but in for a big game, Jack H on 10 so far, Dan M on 4, Elliot the franchise player of Shaqtns starting to heat up with 6. Brynn and Damien on 3 each..
THe 2nd quarter score ended with Monstars leading 44-21 and was the deciding quarter for the game as the lead was blown out with the Monstars going on a 22-7 run with the big shots coming from Dan Muller who finished on 16 for the half, as he hit 3 threes in a row then a buzzer beating bomb to score 12 point on 4 threes in the period, massive! Aaron Jack put in work this quarter with 7 points and heaps of other stats, Monstars shooting 53% – the Shaqtns 27% from the field, The 3rd would be the last chance for Shaqtn to cut it to 10.
3rd quarter action it was still all Monstars, with some others getting busy Dan M on 19 to lead all scorers in his team, Jack H on 16pts already a double double with 11 rebs also..whilst the resistance came from Elliot who mounted 17 points so far ad 7 rebs, Sab on 6, brynn on 7…but struggling to break the Monstars momentum…32% shooting didnt help to Monstars 47% FG% overall..Shannon played hard on 8 and 9 almost a double double including a huge halfcourt bomb at the buzzer! sick!
4th Quarter and the final quarter for Season 3 in Div1, Monstars kept their momentum with Shaqtn getting a couple of small runs in but the final count was full of big stats, Jack H with a 16 points 14reb double double as well as 3ast and 3stls, Shannon B with a 12-11 double double and 5 assists, Dan M with 19 game high points on 50% shooting which outshines Elliot Js hard fought 21 points and 11 rebound a double double with some nice moves hes been putting on teams all year, Brynn got a 12 -10 double double, and Anf hit the 6 assist mark, the game high in that statamerikabulteni.com prescription free cialis There is a two pronged approach to providing treatment for this disease.
