Div 1 had some big margins, with 1 team not getting enough stops and the other just had it all go their way this time..
Shaqtin’ a Fools ,right out of the gates, jumped on the Dellys Disciples and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Brynn Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 19 points to get over the line. . Trevor S focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 18 points to ensure they get the win this round. whilst on the other team, Jordan P scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 16 points on the sheet , Toby S only was able to get a less than his average with 7 points together as they go down in this matchup. Shaqtn had their structure working a treat, and Dellys weren’t able to get clean shots off or have an answer for their respective positions, Shaqtn undefeated still, Dellys starting to climb the ladder only a game in..
Better on 2k were pumped to be playing Rilla Raptors who werent ready for them this game. Jake L couldnt miss much as he led his team with 19 points to shut the defense down.. Ryan S finished the game with a commendable 13 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Tim S & Dan B combined jersey numbers and scores to put in 26 points recorded by the bench , Number 34 was feeling good with 17 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Better on 2k, better on this night compared to Raptors, who just didn’t have the firepower to overcome the attack from the young guns, the scoreline showed the struggles, Raptors in 3rd and 2k in 2nd
Div 2 saw some new matchups this season, and some old favorites, all games were close to a point but not so close at times…
Dunkings took the game second half from the Chiefs who took another loss sliding a little further in rank on the ladder. Jacob finished the game with a commendable 19 points to lead to victory. . Ivan C first step too quick for the guard defense on top totalling 14 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Callum H was heating up as he bagged 14 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Harry H 9 & Campbell F ended up with an efficient 9 points on the sheet . Dunkings just getting it done hitting a few more thress than Chiefs who are still getting used to their matchups and who to look out for…They sit in 3rd as Dunkings in 2nd…
Foreplayers werent going to stand down against Thicc Boiis and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Tye M channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 11 big ones to conlclude the mission . Christian D finished the game with a commendable 9 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Shuq A getting stats from everywhere including 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Ryan M played well as far as getting 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Foreplayers the red guys with the invisible numbers gettgin the task at hand, handled. Thicc bois are in 4th spot now after this game but had their runs go shorter than FPs!
The Bandicoots shot the lights out against a helpless The Outsiders in a game that started close but ended one sided. Unanderra 26ers gets the W in a much needed and hard fought versus LA BLobbers , who underestimated the accuracy of their opponent and copped a loss for it Tim finished the game with a commendable 14 points to get over the line. . Harry S played well as far as getting 10 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Johnny M kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 14 points recorded by the bench , Jason 4 & Jerry was feeling good with 4 points helping out with the teams offensive load. 26ers ballin again but only pull out the win by the slightest of margins in this low scoring game, Blobbers starting to get a feel for the tempo and had some good moments but not enough of them to get the W this time…Blobbers in equal 4tha nd 26ers atop the division in 1st! .
Average Joes Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Orange Peelers couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. Scott T with an epic performance and great score of 16 points to ensure they get the win this round. Blake F helped out with the load getting 8 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Omar N got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 11 points in this game. , Mojo played well as far as getting 8 points in the loss, Orange Peelers kept the ball moving and pushed it inside only go get outdone in the end by the consistent play and put backs from Av joes who are in 4th place Orange Peelers in 3rd!
