Div 1 was set to go off! With the game getting louder as the night went on, some rank changing results this round as some teams switch ranks!
Hogz had its sights set on Splash in a game that started close but ended one sided. Elliot J put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 21 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Nate P had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 18 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. whilst on the other team, Chili O started scoring later in the game but ended up on 8 points on the sheet , Adrian 4 & Lachlan scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 4 points together as they go down in this matchup. Hogz just too slick, getting a slow start from both teams, they had to gather momentum slowly as the 1st half ended. In true Hogz style, they started hitting their 3s and it was all on from there, Splash unable to penetrate with their drives of get some clean shots up as they were pestered by the Hogz guards. Splash in 5th now as Hogz ahead of 2nd rank by 2 points.
Shooters shot the lights out against a helpless MIB in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Jakiah heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 17 points to shut the defense down. . Brooklyn slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 14 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dobbie getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 17 points recorded by the bench , Tommy V 11 & Jack played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 11 points helping out with the teams offensive load. MIB and shooters had the loudest game of the night, with Shooters always bringing their crowd and getting the homecourt advantage on any night. Shooters came out firing, getting a quick lead in the first, then in the 2nd they started hot, but MIB got hotter and started the uphill climb, but they lost their momentum and weren’t able to cover the huge threes by Jakiah who hit 5 shots from behind teh arc to bury the MIB crew who still cant put two wins together lately…
Bombers grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Streetfighters who werent ready for them this game. Jed P led all scorers on a solid 21 points to lead to victory. . Pete 9 & John F kept his average up there for the season with a nice 9 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Anf N just too much experience shooting the 3 with 15 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Andy K scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 9 points on the sheet . Bombers and Streetfifghters were at it again and this time it was a grind and a half both teams, coming out slow, hitting a few threes each, it didn’t get heated up till mid game as the grind was apparent…Jed putting in big numbers from the floaters and getting a big win on Streetfighters who now share the same rank as Bombers as they fight for the 3rd spot. Bomber getting the win they need to get a streak going…
Div 2 was good to go with the players turning up to get some basketball action for the evening and they turned up to play at a high level, the plays on show an indication of the competitive division! 3 teams sit in 2nd! Cant get any closer than that!
Sugar Dunkertons started strong and got the jump on The Mates and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Cam B ended up with an efficient 9 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Jack 10 & Jacob N finished the game with a commendable 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Sam was heating up as he bagged 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Sugar Ds get their 3 game losing streak removed from their current record line on the ladder. The Mates havnt had the greatest run lately but they have the pieces to pull it together in the final part of the season, it’s a race for ranks and Sugar Ds are in 2nd after this one.
Yo Mambas were pumped to be playing BUCKETS in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Jarryd focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 14 points to get over the line. . Oscar pitched in to add to the score with, 13 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Anthony G going to work down low in the blender. 17 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , A Mercer 8 & Jack S just too much touch on the midrange shot with 8 points but a loss unfortunately . Buckets ahve their 3 game winning streak stopped in its tracks by their rivals Yo Mambas…This game would have sorted out the ladder a little, but it wasn’t to be as the Mambas hit a few more midrangers and 3s as well as fast breaks to just creep over the line, both teams now equal 2nd with another team but only 1 win off the top rank!

Fumblerz getting their new threads and new look and with it a new drive to get Ws, and this was one that they took by staying active on the glass and putting up shots from close range, Lobstars had a real slow start as the Fumblerz defended the attacks well and were able to get more stops, taking down the Lobstars who sit mid table, Funblerz in 3rd.

The Kents just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Ballers in a back and forth game holding the crowd in suspense Chris W getting stats from everywhere including 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. Jarred M helped out with the load getting 15 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Ivan C pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 15 points in this game. , Adam B started scoring later in the game but ended up on 7 points in the loss . Ballers 3 game winning streak is halted after this match. Kents bringing their hectic full court defense again, frustrating their opponents and themselves as they scraped for every play and every loose ball. Kents outhustled them in the end but not by much as the Ballers got on the scoring mission early, Kents not used to a close game and kept up their approach, and it was successful again. Ballers mid table and Kents still holding #1 spot!
