MONDAY Season 6 has come to a close for its regular season! The teams that fought all season long through pre covid and post put in one last effort for DOUBLE POINTS, which could mean, a Playoffs seed, or go home early…
Div 1 was the season finish off with the ranks set for the playoffs now, with a big mention to Shaqtn a Fools, who were able to go undefeated in the season with the rest of the div chasing their tails. The short Div made for some epic games and some close ones.
The Bandicoots had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Dellys Disciples , who underestimated the accuracy of their opponent and copped a loss for it Angus M couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 27 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Daniel B let it fly and hit more than missed with 15 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Andrew G couldnt miss much as he led his team with 14 points on the sheet , Hayden & Jack F & Jack M got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 9 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. The Bandicoots snap a 5 game losing streak with this win and it was a great game from the tip as they close out their season with a double points win! They end up 3rd for the season after a hard fought campaign with many roster changes, this game getting their big guns in action like Angus who dropped 27 and as a result..won against the Dellys crew who have been looing strong lately but sit in 4th place for now as we head into the post season!
Shaqtin’ a Fools shot the lights out against a helpless Better on 2k in a game that started close but ended one sided. Jack H just too much experience shooting the 3 with 24 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Elliot J getting stats from everywhere including 24 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jake L played well as far as getting 16 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Brooklyn G let it fly and hit more than missed with 12 points on the sheet . Shaqtn take out the div in a big way finishing in this 1v2 rank matchup in double points, and they didn’t disappoint, the defense was the stand out and the big 6 threes pointers from Jack who helped by Elliot combined for 48, and give Shaqtn a dominating end to the season against the 2nd place Better on 2k who have been just a little flat lately on a 2 game slide even though their season has been awesome. This game, 2ks shots were heavily contested and they weren’t able to get a good footing and mount the comeback, is this the grand finals preview?
Div 2 had a couple of games which showed who was willing to put it all on the line for the last game and final rush to get up a rank, Thicc boys wins the season leader award for this Div which was packed with hectic games.
Thicc Boiis werent going to stand down against Unanderra 26ers in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Ryan M heat checked after hitting a few shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 19 points to shut the defense down. . Ethan & Davis wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 14 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Tim R put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 26 points recorded by the bench , Denzel finished the game with a commendable 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Thiic Boiis finish of the season in 1st place and were slightly tested in this one with Tims big game givin the boys in black a little test for many parts of the game, the fast break was pushed and TBs got up in the end, 26ers jumped up from Div 3 and have been great in Div 2 with a winning record and will tie up 3rd place but ultimately take 4th going into the playoffs…
Double Dribble got a good win on the Foreplayers and pushed it all the way to the end. Eddie L got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 16 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. . Shane S was shooting well from deep with 12 points on the sheet even though from the other team, James L felt it was time to step up and got 12 points but a loss unfortunately , Harold 9 & Ryan N played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Double Dribble the 2nd rank in the finale of the season and take a win from the undermanned but hungry for buckets Foreplayers who just cant get a win streak together and will have to wait for playoffs to get their next win, they ended up in 3rd place by wins and did a good job to keep up with DD who look good going into the playoffs with only 1 game between them and 1st.
Div 3 is the biggest div and it was a big show out of some scorers as everyone pushed for their last double points round that could switch up the ranks big time, and it did!

Canaries finish equal 1st but will take the div by wins and have been strong inside last few games.
Dunkings took the game second half from the Yorkies Corner and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Ivan C put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 27 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Sam pushed the break and went home with a tidy 11 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Bradley L scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 8 points but a loss unfortunately , Daniel H finished the game with a commendable 7 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Dunkings did well to keep up and get the and1s going all through the game, pushing the paint passes and scraping up rebounds to get extra looks, Dunkings land in 2nd place ofiicallly but equal 1st on points, great season for them and Yorkies were victim this time to their chemistry, and for the season end up in equal 7th as they jumped down from Div2 recently and couldn’t get a groove going…
Average Joes focused on the eyes of the opponent and got alot of steals which concerted to points, and the win against Chiefs who werent ready for them this game. Scott T got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 24 big ones to conlclude the mission . Dan B just too much touch on the midrange shot with 15 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Tate H had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 14 points recorded by the bench , Campbell F was feeling good with 9 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Av Joes have been ballin lately and have won the last 3 games including this one, a great run which almost got them up the ladder but were 1 win short of a rank jump, Chiefs sit in 6th spot and have been able to get enough wins to stay mid ladder in a good position for playoffs, their attack on the paint and inside jumpers got them the close this game but unluckily weren’t able to close out on the fast breaks and copped the L.
ONE FOUR Veterans knew it would take more than buckets, they needed stops and that got them the win.. LA BLobbers and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Muhammad S heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 23 points to ensure they get the win this round. Tyrell S helped out with the load getting 13 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, George S , a huge huge night with a rarely seen display, possible UBL career high! 43 points in this game. , Gerry P 4 & Jerry V had a pretty good game scoring wise with 4 points in the loss .One Four Veterans going hard in the paint and putting gup some nice numbers outside of the arc too, as Muhammad got 7 3s to go on the way to his game high which outshone the efforts of a huge game by George S who went nuts and hammered in 43 points carrying the team on his back, it just wasn’t enough as the team effort of the Vets overcame. Vets in 4rd and Blobbers in 4th!
