Div1 got hectic and heavy with some teams clashing over some big moments…
Shaqtin’ a Fools wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Warriors in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Elliot J points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 22 points to lead all scorers and get the win . Jai R 14 & Lachy CR pitched in to add to the score with, 14 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, James Q scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 9 points on the sheet , Rich W helped out with the load getting 6 point game this time around. The Guards of both teams got into with with some back and forth talk and blows from both sides…not a classy game but Shaqtns got the jump early…Warriors frustrations ending in a sour loss, lets hope the game is close and more positive next time around!
Monstars had its sights set on Dellys Disciples and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Jack H let it fly and hit more than missed with 24 points in the big dominating victory. Oscar S also helped out in the win with 16 points to get over the line. Despite a good effort by the other team as Toby S pushed the break and went home with a tidy 14 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Brodie L pitched in to add to the score with, 9 points but a loss unfortunately . Monstars got their big man with all the moves going all through the game causing issues for Dellys, Jack H eventually leading the way to a W with some spread scoring help from the champs.
The Battiers shot the lights out against a helpless Wet dream team and pushed it all the way to the end. Paddy F slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 22 points to get over the line. Nick S also helped out in the win with 12 points on the sheet Which for this game outshines the effort of, Cody W scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 16 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Josh M got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 8 point performance. . Battiers taking it inside and out with no big to stop paddys drives the game was done with the constant attack of the Battier crew..
Div 2 started off to a bang with some big shots straight up…the competition is tight on the ladder for this div!
BD Ballers took on the The Process who werent ready for them this game. Mitchell got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 14 points to lead all scorers and get the win . Kyle D felt it was time to step up and got 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Callum C had his back with a 10 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Jarrod F played well as far as getting 17 points, needing a few more to scrape the W. , Justin helped out with the load getting 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . a big win on a team that will bow out of the race, best of luck for the future, Who would no doubt rebuild and be back to show their former resilience again!
The Cubs took the game second half from the Dunkings who sit in the middle of the ladder looking for a streak. Jethro pulling in much needed offensive rebounds as well as 15 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Chad C pitched in to add to the score with, 13 points to end his game which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Ivan C getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 13 points together as they go down in this matchup.
