Div 1 saw the streak continue, but some super close games with some action to behold!
Shaqtin’ a Fools started strong and got the jump on The Battiers and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Elliot J getting stats from everywhere including 25 points to ensure they get the win this round. Jack H couldnt miss much as he led his team with 24 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Nathan A scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 15 points on the sheet , John M played well as far as getting 13 points to end his game . Shaqtin on a huge streak taking down the Battiers again in a match that started lopsided but shaqtn got out to a huge lead as the game went on… Elliot to efficient and the Battiers take the L and weren’t able to stop the streak!
The Process grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Rilla Raptors in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Jerome T was heating up as he bagged 17 points to shut the defense down. Luke A started scoring later in the game but ended up on 12 points to ensure they get the win this round. Despite a good effort by the other team as jamie C got to good spots on the court and shot well with 13 points recorded by the bench , Lachlan D kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 12 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Raptors unlucky in the end of this game as the process stuck to their guns and kept up the attack they now sit in euqal 2nd place equal with their opponents that they beat this round… raptors look to get back on their streak soon! Process are firing on all front and hope to keep it up
Div 2 had top of the table clashes, rank changing results and some epic plays..
The Mortys Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs North Gong Urchins and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Elliot B just too much experience shooting the 3 with 21 big ones to conlclude the mission . Luke M was heating up as he bagged 14 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Will D was feeling good with 16 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Clive C played well as far as getting 9 points as he pitched in to add to the score. North Gong Urchins and The Mortys was a good match up as they are the top of the table on even points the winner of this one would take the official first rank spot in the diff…this was a match of threes vs twos as the mortys got hot outside and the Urchins went to work in the blender…. the winner the mortys..as they snapped North Gong Urchins’ three-game winning streak , Mortys moved to a four-game winning streak..
Double Dribble got a good win on the Dunkings who took another loss sliding a little further in rank on the ladder. Jayke Z focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 17 points to ensure they get the win this round. Darrel W kept his eye on the hoop and ended up with 8 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Ivan C was heating up as he bagged 14 points hitting some ridiculous shots. , Vikas C felt it was time to step up and got 12 points in the loss . Whilst on the other team, AdAM led all scorers on a solid 25 points together as they go down in this matchup. Callum played well as far as getting 5 points as he pitched in to add to the score. just trying to ball with my Bros were able to get a quick start on the Warriors who have been depleted lately and not sporting their best efforts and JTBWMB got the early jump and took advantage of that fact…warriors down again and take the L as the winners move up in ranks on the ladder….
Div 3 had 2 games and it was on from the get go, The favorites won this round, but not without a fight!
Flaming Anteeaters shot the lights out against a helpless Orange Peelers who sit low on the ladder and need a streak to come together. James T scored well with 13 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. Ryan G played well as far as getting 13 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Will scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points recorded by the bench , Bilal Mo was feeling good with 6 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Flaming ants still number one and out to a quick start on the orange peelers who found a groove in the second half but were unable to get enough buckets as time dwindled down good effort by the orange peelers!
Foreplayers started strong and got the jump on The Rebounds and pushed it all the way to the end. Christian couldnt miss much as he led his team with 9 points to ensure they get the win this round. Harold helped out with the load getting 7 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, B Miftari threw in together to combine scored to total 7 points in this game. Ethan T was feeling good with 7 points in the loss . Foreplayers were too good this round as they pushed it up and down the court making more fast break points then the Rebounds whose main play was from the inside drive… 4 players are sitting in in first place with this win and look to jump ahead in becoming rounds
