A note to all players, doing Duty is easy, Teams need to do it, its only the bench, The scoresheet and the scoreboard. Other comps Duty means 1 that the bench gets done, and 2 players from the Duty team required to do the refereeing, regardless if your team has a badged ref or not, its known as Duty.
UBL duty requires the bench only. Modern day technology means if your running late, can’t make it, don’t know what time the game/duty is, these answers are also easy to find. Last week we had a game where the duty team didn’t turn up, which forced the 2 badged refs to also have to do the bench where one reffed and the other had to do the bench, which means the 2 teams involved didn’t get the refereeing quality they deserved as well as extra unnecessary pressure on the refs to make calls they can’t necessarily see, and extra pressure from the players on the refs to make the calls. This team didn’t show up for Duty yet had a full squad for the game. UBL means a commitment from all – players to refs to ubl officials, we all owe it to each otherm thats what makes this comp better than the rest.
