With the Divisions split, the teams begin the Grind with Round 1 hoping to get their W in early and get ahead of the pack! Div 1 looking good with big performances throughout!
Council of Ricks faced off against the Top Gunz in a back and forth game holding the crowd in suspense Matt G getting some fadeaways to fall to contribute to the result with 13 points to get over the line. M Rahmat focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 11 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Dean S weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 16 points on the sheet , Brent H had his back with a 13 point game this time around. Ricks are looking good and seemingly look like one of the big teams this season again in a stacked div, can they get up there again? Top Gunz just short again in this one in a physical game Top Gunz just weren’t ready for this game, but they will next time around!
Dammnnnn Sonnnnn shot the lights out against a helpless Test Eagles and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Dan M (10x3s) just too much experience shooting the 3 with 30 points to get over the line. Jed P played well as far as getting 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. Despite a good effort by the other team as Trev S was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 19 points recorded by the bench , Tim H pitched in to add to the score with, 13 points as he played his role well and got buckets. Daaaammmnn Sonnn is the new kid on the block and taking names in the process, watch out for this high octane team hitting many 3s and pushing their head up offense. Test Eagles getting a beast game from Trev with a dunk to top it off, but they were short on the score this time…
Div 2 had it all!….
Guys that one hit the Ring got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Free Agent Crew and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Luke S getting stats from everywhere including 19 big ones to conlclude the mission . Drewbo S Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 11 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Oscar S points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 11 points which was required to keep up in this hectic game. Jethro had his back with a 9 points as he pitched in to add to the score. The Div 3 champs making their first win in Div2 on a Crew of Ballers still looking for some chemistry, this time going down by a few points after being down a bunch, GTOHTR is looking like a strong contender for this Div!
Fighting Mongooses got a good first ever win on the forever hustling Feel Team 6 and pushed it all the way to the end. G Bailey played well as far as getting 9 points and the game winning shot near the end of regulation. Zac 9 Matt 9 & Jeff played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 9 points on the sheet the only resistance coming from, Ryan M led all scorers on a solid 18 points as he was operating in automatic mode . Mongooses get their W this round on Feel Team who had Ryan firing on all cylinders but the rest of the crew having an unlucky night on the FG%, Mongooses veterans going to work on the FT6 boys passing well and hitting on open shots…

Whoopsys roster is deep, too deep maybe? But they will find their groove im sure!
Ultra Instinct grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Woonona Mavericks and was able to get the much needed win. Jake P was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 19 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Connor K who ended up with an efficient 10 points to end his game which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Tyla T kept his average up there for the season with a nice 10 points to show hes got some skills to be respected. Adrian D was feeling good with 7 points helping out with the teams offensive load. With a new look and new energy, Ultra instinct was able to get their offenseive rebounds and put some easy ones back, Mavs unable to snatch some rebs to get some extra points to close the gap for this game…
