Div 1
1st quarter started With both teams still warming up their shots but the hotter start went to Circle Dirk As Lachlan R started driving and hitting some tough shots to lead scoring for the quarter for his team and Fletch and Lachlan C coupled for 10 points giving their team the six-point lead after 12 minutes..Elliot J from Shaqtn started getting his shot going and went for 9 points in the quarter with Andy K helping out inside for a couple of buckets setting up the second quarter which would see a different story player...
2nd quarter The defending champs kept to their game and stay consistent on defence getting some good stops whilst feeding Elliot for more hot shooting to which he brought his total up to 22 for the game so far dominating and making sure they completed a 12-point swing to end up on top by 6 at the half...Fletcher Dirk's As he was able to get inside and take damage hitting his free-throws making sure the team answered back on the scoring runs that were faced with...Harry B started getting a few buckets and had six in the game so far but they had a task to try and get back in the game against a formidable opponent...
3rd quarter Saw the Shaqtn crew keep the lead and improve a little bit on it employing the same tactics and keeping their game consistent They were able to get Andy K to score some big buckets inside, have you got the line to do his damage from there and the rest of the boys pitched in with a few buckets from mid-range keeping their opponents off their backs and still had an 11-point lead at the end of the quarter... Both teams equal on rebounds and most other stats at this point with Shaqtn shooting a higher clip at 47% compared to the 35% Circle Dirk...
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, Didn't see much of a different in score or momentum change, circle Dirk try to get things going from three point land and made a quick run with some big shots from Mo, But we momentum from that fizzled out as Shaqtn control the fourth quarter using all the assets to lock down on defence maintaining the lead which by the end of the game was 12 points... The difference in statistics on the box score were very minimal but With five more turnovers from Circle Dirk,that possibly converted to points, They just ran out of time Unfortunately unable to make the comeback and go home in second place after a solid season making it right into the grand finals to play the defending champs, and as they led by 10 points it was a possible dream come true only to have their victory taken by a comeback in classy fashion by the back-to-back champions, Shaqtn a Fools!
Top Performers this game from Elliot J the MVP with 32 points only missing 2 free throws and dominating this finals, andy K put in a big effort with 15pts 8 rebs on 56% shooting to help close the game out. And a great effort and more great numbers from Circle Dirk who had Fletch R go off for a 20 piece on 45% shooting, Mo G swung the game at times with his 11pts, and Lach R was as beast on boards with 11!
Shaqtn a Fools go Back to Back this season, can they repeat again next season for the three-peat?
Div 2
1st quarter started Off with Dellys showing a bit more energy and got out on the break to score their points as they whipped the ball around to their scorers and everyone started getting warmed up...David T got a few to go this quarter with four points and five rebounds but the rest of the crew was still looking for their spots...Jake C started well with four points and five rebounds of his own to match David but the score was in the favour of Dellys by 5 points after 12 minutes we need a team really getting an advantage in momentum...
2nd quarter The scoring started piling in a bit more especially from Morgasms Who went on a scoring run that resulted in a 21 to 10 advantage for them as the quarter finished up.. Morgasms looking for their big man inside David who was still scoring well and eating up all the rebounds He had 12 so far and Coopa also started making some good progress sitting on five points as they consolidated the reference to be up by six points at the halftime break... Connor G was aggressive this quarter and was looking for his shot and drive which was effective in getting to the line and he had seven points in the game so far with a few buckets coming from Elijah and Tommy P to help with their efforts and try and stop the bleeding going into the third quarter...
3rd quarter Saw the Morgasms creeper head a little more as they kept their play consistent finding David and Cooper in the lanes to which they filled up the stat sheet from all angles..Alex G was pulling in some huge rebounds to help with the boys effort which was effective in our playing the other team who had Connor keeps a pace going scoring 12 in the game so far and the rest of the boys had a bucket or two each with the difference in the score being 12 leading into the fourth quarter... Morgasms have the advantage in rebounds so far getting eight more, and the rest of the stats were pretty similar on the box sheet at this point in the game...
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, It was all Morgasms and they carried the momentum from the last quarter to keep pushing the ball into the lanes and looked for their shooters outside who were nailing some shots, Ned R had some great looks land for him at crucial times but there was nothing that Dellys could do but tried their best to come back and nail some shots, and went to the line as well which helped but they ran out of time as the comeback fizzled and Morgasms cruise to a dominating victory by 22...
Morgasms First UBL championship and it was a great performance from all players on both sides but this time Dellys Go home empty-handed despite putting up a grade season and grade effort in the Grand finals...

And a great effort and more great numbers from the Morgasms; David T the MVP this game with a Monster 19pt and 19 rebound game on 50% shooting! a true epic performance from the big man! Coopa D played a perfect compliment as he also got a nice double double with 19pts and 10 rebounds. Alex G hammered in the boards and ate glass with 14 rebs!
Dellys Disciples had some good numbers on the box score with Connor G going for 15points 3 steals and 3 assists, Tynan C with 6 points and a glass hungry 10 rebs!
Morgasms look to run it back and try get another chip next season to build on this one! a great start to their Franchise history!

Div 3
1st half started With both teams keen to run and the pace was set pretty quickly... It was a combination of twos and threes for Backdoor Violations as they look around to try and find someone to score and the man that stepped up was Matt D Who had been relegated to the paint all season and had been saving a tool in his bag for this moment and it was special... He went for 16 points on 67% shooting including 4 3-pointers to dominate this half and start to amp up his hustle getting blocks and steels as well to cause all sorts of trouble for Raining 3s... Dan Z started the game well and was able to nail two three pointers in the half to help the team keep up with Matt's epic scoring effort and Damo Robin's also started heating up getting five in the half so far and all stats were pretty even except for rebounds where Raining 3s had the advantage by five but it was anyone's game as the scores were pretty much locked even with Backdoor Violations Only up by one after 20 minutes... Raining 3s we're smothered on defence allowing back door violations to shoot a better percentage by 10% as we led into the second half...
2nd half Was intense and the game went back and forth up and down the court both teams working the fast break and getting their shooters some good looks on the outside. Matt D continued to dominate, getting what he wanted on offense, pulling off step backs and some tough 3s to which he hit another 3 of them truly carrying the team at times. But it all came down to the final minute when although raining threes had momentum it was the closeout free throws by Christian and Dylan T that put the game out of reach, which was following a huge 3-point bucket from Christian to start the 6-1 run that would eventually close the game out for them and earn them their second title in UBL...
Top Performers this game from Backdoor Violations were Matt D with an MVP performance 27 points 11rebs, 3 blocks and 3 steals on 60% shooting! Christian D hit some big clutch shots with 6pts and Carcy and Dylant pitched in 10 combined to help out with the Championship! . And a great effort and more great numbers from the Raining 3s with Damo R on 14 points on 45% shooting, Dan Z with 8 points and 8 rebs, and Sam M with a solid almost triple double 7pts 6ast and 8 rebs!
Backdoor Violations reign supreme and take this game down in clutch fashion! can they repeat the same success next season in Div 2? Surely!

Div 4
1st half started With both teams seemingly nervous as they started to warm their shots up and this half belonged to the Ash Shahada crew as they hustled hard on defence putting a lock on the shooters from the other team and finding their big man inside who was already close to a double double with Mahmoud H getting eight points and eight rebounds He was assisted by Amin A He was showing off the handles and had five in the half so far The effort allowed them to have a four point lead after 20 minutes despite some good buckets from Charlie L Who was starting to dominate this game on both ends pulling in 9 rebounds so far to add to his six points... Brandon L was solid on the cut and the drive getting 4 points so far finishing some tidy buckets... Both teams pretty even on stats except rebounds where cookie cutters fell three short for the half and had three more turnovers showing that they needed to improve to take control of this game but the second half would tell a different story as the cookie cutters huddled in the break and formulated a strategy to limit Mahmouds dominating play so far...
2nd half Saw things open up a bit with both teams starting to nail some big shots especially on the inside from cookie cutters who were getting the ball to Charlie and Brandon in the spots they needed it and they were efficient with their shooting combining for 15 in the half which helped a lot on the comeback... The rest of the cookie cutters pitched in and hit a few buckets this half to help with the effort and allow them to go on a 24 to 13 run in the second half allowing them to snatch this title from Ash Shahada pulling the rug from under them using defence to lock them down forcing them to take some lower percentage shots that allowed cookie cutters to get back in the game as they rebounded well and found each other on the fast break... The team game from cookie cutters was the catalyst for this victory even though Mahmoud H put another seven points and nine rebounds in for the half and A sparked a small run in the middle of the half getting some threes and and ones to fall But the comeback fizzled out as the game wound up and the buzzer sounded giving the Cookie Cutters another championship after a great comeback being down in the first half but banding together and keeping their heads allowing a solid victory this day...
Top Performers this game from Ash Shahada . And a great effort and more great numbers from Ash Shahada were Mahmoud H with 15 pts and 17 rebs, a huge double double on 46% shooting, Amin was able to score well with 11pts and Temeem ate the glass on offense and defense with 7 boards to help with the effort.
And a great effort and more great numbers from Cookie Cutters were Charlie L, the Finals MVP with 15pts and 13 rebs, a solid double double, and BRandon L on 10pts and 4stls on 40% shooting. Ryan H helped out big time on the glass with 6 rebs along with Harrison who had 5 rebs.
Cookie Cutters reign as Champions and look to keep things going next season in their new endeavors in the higher Div after a great close out game!
