Mitch B getting stats from everywhere including 10 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. whilst on the other team, Liam S Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 16 points on the sheet , Elliot B was heating up as he bagged 10 points together as they go down in this matchup. Better on 2k just too strong with their structure and defense by putting some runs on Mortys early, despite some hot shooting from Mortys they still were able to keep pushing their method and get the job done, getting a few more fast break points and offensive rebound tto close the deal, 2k in 2nd and Mortys in 5th…
Shaqtin’ a Fools knew what to expect when they faced Rilla Raptors in and overtime thriller that kept the crowd waiting for the next bucket to close the game Trevor S was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 17 points to shut the defense down. . Elliot J felt it was time to step up and got 12 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Tim S was shooting well from deep with 19 points recorded by the bench , Jamie C was feeling good with 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. This one went back and forth with a fun game for both sides whilst getting some nice buckets, it all chopped and changed with both teams putting their best foot forward, and then at the end it wasn’t to end at 40mins, and went to OT and a showdown shootout which was cleaned up by Shaqtn who keep their 1st rank and undefeated streak at 5, Raptors in 4th and hanging for a new streak.
The Bandicoots was ready this time around for Double Dribble , who underestimated the accuracy of their opponent and copped a loss for it Angus M Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 35 points to lead to victory. . Dan B played well as far as getting 20 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Sam C was hitting the midrange shot with some soft touches 19 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Adam M scored well with 10 points on the sheet . Bandicoots took a while to get going, Double Dribble were out for some big buckets and were able to keep up first half with some hard work pushing the break and attacking the mid range, also playing some good D, but 2nd half, The two pronged attack from the inside and out came and that was what was required to bury Double Dribble with a bit run, then another one, this matchup was good to start, but the equal 1st place Bandicoots put Double dribble in 3rd after this round.
2nd Div action hit the high note as some of the ladder gets shake up and puts some teams in ranks they werent expecting based on their big time hustle.
Foreplayers had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Dunkings and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Christian D felt it was time to step up and got 16 big ones to conlclude the mission . Sam focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 7 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Ivan C got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 20 points but a loss unfortunately , Hayden A 6 & Sam B scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Foreplayers sitting in 1st place equal with Bandicoots, fighting to get their own rank, but this one helped as they took down Dunkings to switch up the ladder big time this round. Foreplayers pushed it inside with some tidy drives and Dunkings did their thing from the cherry pick and mid range drive through the zone, this time is was all Foreplay, and they hammered it in for a W!
The Outsiders faced off against the Chiefs and it went to plan as they got a W on the backs of their scorers. Bailey L got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 17 points which was required to keep up in this hectic game. . Matt C head faking and luring the post D to one side then dropping many paint points in totalling 16 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Campbell F scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 12 points as he played his role well and got buckets. , Brandon R helped out with the load getting 10 points but a loss unfortunately . Outsiders snap their 4 game losing streak to give them their first win after a tough start to the season, Outsiders looking good but only this game as they got the jump on Chiefs, who sit in equal 4th and look to get back some revenge next time they meet, the game was back and forth but the damage was done on the offensive rebounds and short range drive. LA BLobbers pounced on the defense of opponents, the Average Joes and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Dimitri S slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 10 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Tristan L focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 10 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Mitch P scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 5 points but a loss unfortunately , Blake F played well as far as getting 4 points as he pitched in to add to the score. LA Blobbers snap their 4 game losing streak to pop their cherry in UBL with a solid close out win against a streaky Av Joes who couldn’t find the bottom of the net this game, BLobbers pushed it on the break and got some buckets outrunning in their loud style keeping the momentum going all game until the end. Blobbers get the win and notch the 6th spot in the div keen to keep the momentum going after the break, Av Joes in 7th and await the hiatus to get some plays together to start the long climb into playoff contention.
PRESTIGE WORLDWIDE got a good win on the Orange Peelers , who underestimated the accuracy of their opponent and copped a loss for it Jarod F got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 24 points to get over the line. . Rhys D played well as far as getting 10 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Ian 6 & Amar started scoring later in the game but ended up on 6 points recorded by the bench , Will was feeling good with 5 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Prestige just couldn’t get anything wrong this game as they kept up the pace and pushed the break despite the Orange Peelers getting in their faces all game, Peelers missing some offensive firepower and looked to get the outside shot going, but had the feisty perimeter defenders hungry for some stops, Peelers in 4th and Prestige Worldwide in 2nd spot going into the forced break with some hunger to get more wins using their proven method from this game.
ONE FOUR Veterans with a huge comeback win being down most of the game against Calderwood Canaries in a highly defensive game. Jayden the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 16 points to ensure they get the win this round. Kyle E helped out with the load getting 14 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Taco J couldnt miss much as he led his team with 15 points in this game. , Mark played well as far as getting 11 points in the loss . This game went down to the wire as Canaries were off and running at the start and had the lead until they got overtaken with some hot outside shooting that had gotten 1-4 veterans onto their 4 game winning streak and 2nd rank in the Div, whilst Canaries sit in 3rd keen to get back on their streak they are accustomed to.
