Round 19! Last round of the regular season, the DOUBLE POINTS round that sends the ladder ranks into a frenzy for certain ranks, Great season to all who didn’t make playoffs, and the team that did, be ready, its the Big dance, and you have earned your initiation!
Div 1 games this round had some big matchups which will be a preview of the playoffs, the top 4 do through but this round there were do or die elimination games which would make for a solid night of ball…Shaqtn a Fools takes the top seed this regular season with a 15-2 record!
Shaqtin’ a Fools with an amazing finish and win vs Wasted Potential and hustled harder getting the W. Elliot J put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 30 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Andy K also helped out in the win with 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Darcy R let it fly and hit more than missed with 13 points on the sheet , Mitch G 11 & Ziv Z pitched in to add to the score with, 10 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Shaqtin’ a Fools taking on the the rank just below them in a game that would send the Wasted Potential crew to third place if they copped the L. And the game was on, Shaqtin’ a Fools massively undermanned ballin with 4 and putting in work on both ends to keep things close and even hold the lead at times. Wasted Potential had trouble with the busy hands they wre faced with and had to put up some threes to keep pace. Elliot was an absolute beast again leading Shaqtin’ a Fools to the W and giving the Wasted Potential crew the 4rd spot after a great season by them and a good rank to launch into playoffs. Shaqtin’ a Fool ended the regular season in 1st place and look to be on a possibly back to back championship if things go well!
Dellys Disciples gets the W in a much needed and hard fought versus Benders , who underestimated the hustle of their opponent and copped a loss for it Sean Q 13 & Pat getting stats from everywhere including 13 points to shut the defense down. . Toby S pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 9 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Chris W slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 17 points recorded by the bench , Dan W just too much touch on the midrange shot with 15 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Dellys Disciples and Benders was the do or die game for this round with Benders in and Dellys Disciples fighting for the final playoffs spot as there can only be 6! Benders looked hungry but were not going well with turnovers and allowed Dellys to get in the paint and do some damage through Quinn as Pat ran the break well for Dellys which proved too much for the halfcourt attacking Benders who had things going from the mdid range and outside as Dan and Chris got their eye in. Dellys Disciples ket pushing it to the end and Benders weren’t able to bridge the gap in time. DEllys end up in the 4th spot and the final playoff rank just scraping past Benders who end their season early and regroup for the next season. Benders did well against all teams, only losing by a bunch of buckets most games, next season theyll have it all figured out!
DIv 2 had the short run of games but it was a game that had to be played to see who the form is going into the playoffs, and it was a a good last effort by both teams. Div 2 has had some ups and downs but the remaining four teams are strong and the top 2 ranks tied up and going to season series to decide…Bandicoots takes the top seed this regular season with a 15-2 record!
Double Dribble took the game second half from the Unanderra 26ers who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Shayne R had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 12 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Grant O owning the glass and taking names in the post with 10 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Alain I let it fly and hit more than missed with 10 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Danny played well as far as getting 7 points on the sheet . Double Dribble Double had their jets on and were pushing the ball up the court into the teeth of the defence knowing this game means alot on the scale of things. The season series was split and DD and Bandicoots both ending on the same ladder points, it had to go to season series to see who would claim the regular season winner. But they needed to win this one… Unanderra 26ers depleted but pushing through for their squad and making plays all game through Alain and Tim but in the end Dribble Double were too good from outside and on the cut dismantling the opponents with some crafty teamwork… Double Dribble end in 2nd place and 26ers in 4th after this result!
Div 3 had some wild switches with ranks jumping around and the top teams fighting for the higher ranks to get the playoffs run in control…Top 8 get through! And The Dunkings take out the regular season title with a 14-4 record!
Pandemic Ps took the game second half from the Orange Peelers and pushed it all the way to the end. Jake W got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 16 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Ryan S beasted hard this game finishing on a great 11 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Amura J pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 9 points but a loss unfortunately , Ali K getting stats from everywhere including 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Pandemic Ps were working hard to get up the ranks since coming down from Div 2 and its been a steady run with a big win streak stopped a few rounds ago, it was time to get locked in. Orange Peelers were doing well in the first half until Jake W got hot and went to work scoring many points to get the lead for Pandemic Ps which they defended all game and held out. Ale K on Orange Peelers did some damage in the 2nd scoring all of the Peelers points, but they needed more accuracy from the rest of the crew this time as they copped the L and slip to 3rd spot. Pandemic Ps end in 4th after pushing harder in this game for double points!

Ash pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 15 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Muhammad S slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 13 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Urich the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 12 points but a loss unfortunately . Prestige Worldwide having an up and down season but mainly up! They went into this game knowing they needed to win or they could face elimination from their opponenets, SOTC came from Div 2 and have struggled to adjust to the Div 3 climate this season and this game they had some big threes land and splash down giving them some hope as they trailed by 4 at the half. The 2nd half was much of the same with the three ball rimming out more times than not, the SOTC rebounders were underpowered against Prestige Worldwides strong back line which got them the win in the end with help of the fast break game. Prestige Worldwide end up in headed for the playoffs in the 7th spot and SOTC just ousted this season by a matter of 7 points, Unlucky SOTC good effort but better luck next time around!
L.A ICONS wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Average Joes , who underestimated the bigs of their opponent and copped a loss for it George S put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 20 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Sam H 17 & Dean K pitched in to add to the score with, 14 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Scott T was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 12 points but a loss unfortunately , Dan B 10 & AJ Dalisay got to good spots on the court and shot well with 10 points as he pitched in to add to the score. . L.A ICONS wanted this win in the bag as it would mean a rank jump that is worthy of the effort they have been putting in this season. Dimitri on the sidelines and the boys going to battle agains the Average Joes who have been playing well and were sitting mid ladder. A loss would still mean they make playoffs in the 8th rank which is what happened. Average Joes ahd their shooters come out strong with Danny B hitting a few and Aj scraping up the boards. Scott was making trouble on the fast break for L.A ICONS, but that was nothing compared to the trouble L.A ICONS forwards casued in the paint. They simply outworked them in there and put up many 2nd chance buckets getting them the win. They wne up in 2nd and as Average Joes clinch he 8th seed and the final playoff spot..
Miami Yeet shot the lights out against a helpless Bricklayers and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Zac S couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 33 big ones to conlclude the mission . Kade W helped out with the load getting 7 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Michajlo getting stats from everywhere including 14 points recorded by the bench , Les H just too much experience shooting the 3 with 12 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Miami Yeet putting up numbers this night as Zac is getting into playoff form with his all round game dominating this one. Bricklayers had some energy too and kept the pace up all game, driving and dishing with some nice finishes inside. Les was hitting his bank 3 like always trying to keep the boys in it. Michajlo was on fire driving to the middle and causing Miami Yeet to get some threes going through Zac who was getting step backs to go with some nice inside footwork. Miami Yeet end up in 6th rank and Bricklayers ending a long season of games that just went out of reach, they take an early holiday to rebuild and train up for next season of wins!
Dunkings wins a resounding victory over the unlucky Air Ballers and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Sam B focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 12 points to ensure they get the win this round. Michael B ended up with an efficient 6 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Daniel H got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 13 points in this game. , Sam T played well as far as getting 10 points in the loss . Dunkings were feisty this game with the volume at max for both teams, the loudest team in the comp getting a run for their money with the Dunkings fighting to keep their 1st rank after a good season of consistency! Air Ballers are mid ladder and would have liked this one in the bag but Dunkings weren’t going to allow that this time as they try to get a back to back championship this season! Sam B hit a couple of bang in 3s to keep dunkings in the hunt as they trailed by 5 at the half. But Michael B on his comeback season hit 6 points in the 2nd half to push ahead shilts limiting their Airballers to 5 points in the half. Airballers finish in 5th and DUnkings lock in the first rank to top the regular season off for them. Well Done!
For those that didn’t make the playoffs, it was a long hard fought season and your squads should know that they did well to grind it out! Well Done and keep in shape for next season!
