Div 1 had a few first time matchups and some old foes from previous seasons play each other to see who would get the jump on the standings with a win!
Unanderra 26ers grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Cosmic Lightning in this round which would result in a great match. Alain I started scoring later in the game but ended up on 12 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Doug focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 9 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, James N had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 11 points on the sheet , Will L got to good spots on the court and shot well with 7 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. First time against each other and it was a great match with both teams matching up well, equally pushing the break and the only difference was some rebounds and some smart plays where they stopped the break to get their defense back…tactical! Next time they know what to expect, Cosmic will come out firing!
Shaqtin’ a Fools started strong and got the jump on Dellys Disciples in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Lachy CR got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 24 points to shut the defense down. . Elliot J kept his average up there for the season with a nice 22 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Andy G let it fly and hit more than missed with 21 points recorded by the bench , Haydin 5 & Jed W felt it was time to step up and got 5 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Shaqtn keeps getting the job done, this time it was on Dellys for their first matchup this year, the Shaqtn crew too slick with their passing and drive and dish and were able to keep piling in points getting a good gap on Dellys, despite Andy Gs hot shooting. Dellys take the L this time and Shaqtn still not beaten..
Wasted Potential started strong and got the jump on Benders in a game that started close but ended one sided. Dan B put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 17 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Darcy R 15 & Mitch G played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 15 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Dan W was heating up as he bagged 15 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Chris W played well as far as getting 14 points on the sheet . Wated potential didn’t waste any time 2nd half as they got firing from 3 to build on their first half omomentum, Dan B just too much in the skillset making things hard for Benders on the inside. Bender put up some nice shots, Dan W and Chris going well through the game, but needed 1 more bigger scorer to help out…
Div 2 had some lopsised results, but some were closer than expected at times, the bigger team getting hungrier and getting a win this round..
Double Dribble went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Cream CIty undermanned but pumped up for the challenge. Adam M got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 14 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Grant O 10 & Shayne S had a pretty good game scoring wise with 10 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Trent just too much experience around the paint getting 11 points but a loss unfortunately , Taco J helped out with the load getting 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Cream city did a great job stopping the inside pressure, and protected the ball well, but they weren’t able to get to all the 3s from Double Dribble who have been hitting great shots lately, this game for sure and Cream city lost out on that fact. Double dribble looking like the team to beat n the Div if they keep playing well.
Pandemic Ps gets the W in a much needed and hard fought versus Miami Yeet and knew it would be a test on their troops. Mitch B got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 23 points to get over the line. . Cameron S finished the game with a commendable 8 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Maxi M couldnt miss much as he led his team with 18 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Jacob M got to good spots on the court and shot well with 12 points but a loss unfortunately . Pandemic Ps got out to a quick start and gave the ball to the hot hand Mitch who piled in the points when the needed it, Miami Yeet kept on getting up some tough layups all game, and some nice 3s, but the stop swerent happening, and they couldn’t stop the bleeding late game with a run.
Div 3 was physical and was loud, with all the teams analyzing each other and how to beat each other to rise to the top of the div…
Orange Peelers had better offense than the defense of their opponent, PRESTIGE WORDLWIDE who werent ready for them this game. Omar channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 18 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Mazen 7 & Amura also helped out in the win with 7 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Jarod F weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 12 points but a loss unfortunately , Daniel C 7 & Rhys D had a pretty good game scoring wise with 7 points as he pitched in to add to the score. Great come back for Orange Peelrs who get it done late 2nd half, with Prestige sniffing around just out of reach with every unanswered bucket from Peeler. Prestige have been playing well but still struggling to close out for the win…but its close.. and they look to bounce back next week with a W!

DDunkings looking fresh and ready to run, this time Airballers were the loser of the matchup as they weren’t able to stop the many weapons that Dunking had working hard this game. Air Ballers had some good looks but the bucket had a lid most shots, still looking for their structure to get back in the positive this season…
L.A ICONS started strong and got the jump on Bricklayers and put up alot of unanswered buckets to mount up the lead and the win. Dimitri S points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 28 points to ensure they get the win this round. George S helped out with the load getting 19 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Richard T scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points in this game. , Dim I played well as far as getting 5 points in the loss . Another beatdown for LA Icons as The ‘S’ bothers keep up the pace and push the scoring plays everytime. Bricklayers weren’t ready for the fast breaks and the sneak out cherry picks and copped the Loss this time around, but be assured they will be ready for this next time they face as the season rolls on…
1 more week next week then it’s a break for the season! 1 more week to get a W and finish the year on a high!
