Div 1 had some must see match ups as the Woj bombs are dropping everywhere as new talent is acquired to take down the reigning champs this season!
Bone Collectors grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Benders in this round which would result in a great match. Jerome T 14 & Jake E focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 14 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Tom C pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Jasper got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 21 points on the sheet , Dan W Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 20 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Benders’ 3 game winning streak is now over. Bone Collectors kept up with everything that was thrown at them, and at the half it was pretty much even. Jerome and Jake kept a steady flow of points as Benders had Jasper and Dan go crazy with jumpers and inside moves. Bone Collectors got away with a close one as Tim S hits the last bucket to keep ahead by 1! Benders in equal 2nd now and Bone still in equa1st!
Bitter Sweet Ballers had better offense than the defense of their opponent, Dellys Disciples but too many lost posessions resulted in a loss to their foes Jake L heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 13 points to shut the defense down. . Christian C took a back seat to scoring, but not by much getting 12 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Jack M beasted hard this game finishing on a great 12 points recorded by the bench , Haydin K ended up with an efficient 5 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Bitter Sweet Ballers started out strong and were running hard on every play. Dellys Disciples started slower and by the time they started getting some open shots to land, the Bitter Sweet Ballers had run away with the lead which was unable to be bridged by Dellys Disciples this time around as they sit in 4th, BSB in 3rd now
Div 2 had some first time face off which no1 knew would turn out the way it did, with some big buckets and scorers getting wet, it was a solid round for Div 2!
Penetrators matched up well against Pandemic Ps in a physical matchup that will set the tone for next time. Kody P couldnt miss much as he led his team with 10 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Grifin S also helped out in the win with 9 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Conor T heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 13 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Ryan S played well as far as getting 9 points on the sheet . Pandemic Ps 4 game win streak is over! They slip out of 1st place this round as they get a little wake up call from the Penetrators who kept up their fast attack on the break and double teaming the ball carrier… Pandemic Ps had some good plays succeed but they were heavily defended and could only get some outside shots to fall to help them keep up. The 4th ranked Penetrators take the down the top dogs who were in 1st, showing anyone can get that #1 spot with a solid string of wins…
The Whoopsy Fudge Stripes took the game second half from the Dunkings and was victorious this round, thanks to some players putting in work. Cody C got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 17 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Paul R channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 8 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Sam B scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 10 points but a loss unfortunately , Ivan C helped out with the load getting 8 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Whoopsy Fudge Stripes snap their 3 game losing streak with this win as the Dunkings scrambled for every look ball and tried to get an adge and take the lead..But it wasn’t their night as the Dunkings forwards were smothered with D, all getting less than than usual prodcuctivity. Dunkings sit in 6th and Whoopsy just below in 7th.
Div 3 had the most basketball games to be seen as they teams face off against each other in the 2nd last week before break!
Raining 3s Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs BD Ballers who werent ready for them this game. Jordan H with an epic performance and great score of 24 points to get over the line. . Cream City was ready this time around for Bank Shootaz as they matched up in overtime to make sure a winner is crowned for this match Tom put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 32 big ones to conlclude the mission .
