JadON H Snapping the wrist to perfection finding the bottom of the net for 11 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. whilst on the other team, Finbar beasted hard this game finishing on a great 14 points on the sheet , Brandon couldnt miss much as he led his team with 9 points together as they go down in this matchup. Globo Gym looking like one of the strong teams after this game as they used their inside and outside attacks and slashing to put a gap between their opponent …Ingles Angels got their runs in and started to get some momentum but for their first game hey were happy just to get buckets…game went to Globo!
Dream Team ,right out of the gates, jumped on the Buckled Knees and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Snowy O got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 22 points to shut the defense down. . Jasper P points from slashing and finding the gaps in the zone D. 18 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Dave G was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 16 points recorded by the bench , Scott M slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 14 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . Dream Team aptly named this round as they took it to the break and got buckets from pushing it into the paint and cleaning up the glass…buckled knees had some late runs and hit some huge threes but it was too little too late this time and cooled the L!
Figtree Cannons Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Shellharbour Havaliers in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Nathan C getting stats from everywhere including 8 points to lead to victory. . Sanjaya pitched in to add to the score with, 5 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Shamith L with an epic performance and great score of 13 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Nick B scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 6 points on the sheet . Game of the round with the lead changing almost every possession both teams getting the ball in Boohoo multiple times…one team would hit it 3 and the other team would come back and hit one to answer.. in the final moments it was no one’s advantage but the Figtree cannons were able to scrape out a win using their fast break floaters and some tough shots to get the w this time…
