1st quarter started with Towradgi Rattlesnakes Pushing the ball inside and finding their bigs which opened up the floor to allow their shoes to get going which Lachlan E started to with 9 points in the quarter to lead his team and with some drives and free throws from Seth P, They were able to have the slight advantage by three after the quarter shooting 8% better from the field but the key this quarter was getting to the line and hitting their free throws...Nick G for Scorgasms started getting active early putting in six points for the quarter getting his drive on as his shot warmed up which was a similar tactic employed by Steven M who had five in the quarter but missed a few threes to start which resulted in the one bucket difference going into the second quarter
2nd quarter Scorgasms Started off well and put a couple of scoring runs together but they were answered quickly by rattlesnakes players who started to get loose..Jack C had six points so far in the game and seven rebounds to help out inside which was where the ball was headed most times and less Lachlan E or Seth P who was cutting through and scored five points this quarter but after 12 minutes his team was down one..Scorgasms able to get nine points out of Steven and a few more buckets from the rest of the boys to allow their lead to stand at one point... Both teams shooting within 5% of each other in all scoring categories the only difference was Scorgasms led in rebounds by four but had four less assists showing the style of game each team...
3rd quarter Rattlesnakes Fell short a little on the defensive end and allowed a few three-pointers from Scorgasms, as Steven hit to downtown shots as well as 10 points for this quarter for him allowing them to enjoy a 10-point lead after the quarter was done... Things had slowed down for the rattlesnakes in this quarter as they were outscored by 7 points putting them in a 8-point hole going into the final 12 minutes..
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, Scorgasms Were in no hurry but didn't take the foot off the gas and kept pushing the ball up the court trying to bury the other team with three pointers, But they weren't falling as much and with the bigger team getting the rebounds, Rattlesnakes were able to inch back into the game and finish the quarter on a 22 to 11 run allowing the game to come down to a final play by rattlesnakes as the scores were locked at 61 a piece... With 3 seconds left on the clock the ball whipped around Dr Lach you summoned all his clutch powers to hit a huge three from the top of the key to get the advantage by three points, time out was called, Scorgasms returned but we're not able to get a clean look and the Towradgi Rattlesnakes and the hopes of five in a row for Scorgasms with a solid victory this grand finals...
Top Performers this game from Towradgi Rattlesnakes were Lachlan E the MVP game with stats to match and a clutch shot to win the game! 22 points on 47% shooting, Dan B got his beak wet with a cool 15-point 13reb double-double, and his complimentary big man Jack C also put in a tidy double-double with 12points and 10 rebounds to go with 3 assists. Seth P also helped out with the win with 12 points and 6 rebounds a true team effort to get over the line! ...
And a great effort put in by the players on Scorgasms....Steven M was firing at will with 25 points 5 rebs, and he was helped out as always nby Nick G who go 17 points from all over the court to help his team keep up. Alex G was huge this game in the middle with 15 rebounds and 10 points, a double double that his team needed but still just fell short.
Scorgasms Have been battling for first and second spot and unfortunately go home empty-handed after a big comeback victory from the other team which was just meant to be it seemed...
Rattlesnakes have been playing great basketball all season culminating in this grand finals victory for Thursday's Div 1! Congratulations!

1st quarter started and Air Jellem Looked to get some shots going inside but they had more luck from outside with Cody P able to connect on to three pointers and with Jake hitting another one they were able to have a three-point lead after 12 minutes rebounding three more boards than the other team and defending the room well with two more blocks but both teams were not shooting a great percentage due to all the defence being played...Johnny and Liam did well to get some shots this quarter combining for five points as both teams started slow but look to increase the pace in the next quarter
2nd quarter had Dribbling Sea-men Had their shooters keep looking for their shot and Jarryd T found some luck nailing a few as well as Cody who continues his attack and got to the line to score another 7 points this quarter and with some great stops on defence they were able to limit the damage actually increase their lead by 6 points going into the second half...Air Jellem at this point we're shooting 16% better than Dribbling Seamen and had three more rebounds...
3rd quarter Air Jellem kept the foot on the gas and whipped the ball around to Cody who hit another two three pointers, making the day come out to him allowing some mid-range shots from Jarryd T to land in this quarter as he put in 9 points increasing the lead for his team along with Cody who put in another 8 points but it was the rebounding category which stood out the most as Air Jellem had the advantage by 10...
4th quarter, and in the last 12 minutes, Dribbling Sea-men had some work to do to cover the 17 point deficit that were faced with and they came out looking to shoot but at this point there was only 1 3-pointer recorded for them by Mitch H which simply was not enough this game compared to the extra 9 3 pointers that Air Jellem had which translated to the gap in score... Unfortunately the comeback ran out for dribbling Seamen and Ait Jellem closed out the game in dominant fashion leaving no question that they are the Division 2 champions...
Top Performers this game from Air Jellem were Cody P with an impressive double double of 31 points and 10 rebounds with 4 blocks, an MVP finals game for him, but couldn't have done it without Jarryd T getting a 16 points 14 rebounds double double..Cody C was too good on the glass with 10rebs too...
And a great effort put in by the players on Dribbling Sea-men ....Luke R with a 10 points 12 reb double double on 80% shooting, Mitch H put in 8 points and Johnny M did well at the PG position to help his team get buckets and got 5points and 2 assists in the game.
Overall, Dribbling Sea-men were outplayed on the glass only getting 31 to the 44 from Air Jellem a clear advantage in getting put backs, defensively they had more blocks and steals and shooting 12 percent better overall. Congratulations to Air Jellem! Division 2 Champions!
Dribbling Sea-men Showed a great effort this season taking on a lot of the top teams and playing well but unfortunately go home empty-handed in a tough matchup with a super tough team...
Air Jellem Go home with victorious after putting in work shooting well and playing for each other, Can they come back and do it again next season?

1st half started We both teams warming up their shot in the cold environment but it was the muscle inside that got the job done for the Pritchards this half as they went to inside the ark to do their damage finding Jono W In his spots just outside the key and he nailed his mid-range shots to get seven in the half and with David W also shooting well at the line and getting inside for putbacks top scoring for his team and the game so far with eight points and four rebounds giving his team an 11 point lead at the half...Thorny was a menace on rebounds with seven in the game so far but the other team had some scorers too Shaun E getting his total to six points and six rebounds for the half and Martin A started getting his eye in with four points to help with the effort but they short a considerably low clip compared to the Pritchard's who double them In that category and had momentum going into the second half...
2nd half Saw more of the same scoring from both teams but at that point in the game the younger more experienced Ballers on Pritchard's were able to outlast their opponents and picked up the pace as well out scoring the Puma Ballers by 31 in the final half which was a result of their defence as they got into passing lanes and found each other on cuts... But it was the free throws that allowed the Pritchard's to keep their momentum going as the Puma ballers were bring everything they could to get back in this game...The Pritchards were able to hold out and keep up their pace closing out this half strongly and taking their first division three championship on Thursdays
Top Performers this game from The Pritchards were WIll B with a solid 18 points on 64% shooting, Sam Thorny with a monster 13points and 16 rebound double double, Brayden S scraping on through as well with 11points and 10 rebs.....a few other players were close to double dboules too with David W getting 12points and 9 rebs. . ...
And a great effort put in by the players on Puma Ballers....Martin A top scoring for his team with 9 on 67% shooting, and Shaun E who had the shooters touch this game with 6 points and 6 rebounds.
Puma ballers Unfortunately go home empty-handed this Grand finals but they had a great first season battling with the tough teams in the division all to make it to the Grand finals against a well put together team...
The Pritchards worked hard for this one as they had all season to keep their rank and staying control all to lead up to this point where they used their previous playoffs experience to ensure they stay efficient shooting and all help out on rebounds which was crucial in this victory...Congratulations!
