Air jellem got a good win on the Southside Ballers and pushed it all the way to the end. Jarryd T channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 17 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Rhys P had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 10 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Jessie finished the game with a commendable 4 points on the sheet . Air jellem looking strong again this game as they were put to the test on defense and overcame the challenge. Southside Ballers still looking for their groove taking this 2nd game as an L, but they will be sure to bounce back in the next rounds. Buckled Knees knew it would take more than buckets, they needed stops and that got them the win. but it wasnt to be as they faced. Scorgasms in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Joel S let it fly and hit more than missed with 11 points to shut the defense down. . Mitch R 9 Dave G also helped out in the game with 8 points, a much needed performance as they fought for the scoring matchup against the other teams scorers. A better effort by the other team got them the win as Jarryd T led all scorers on a solid 17 points recorded by the bench , Rhys P weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Birchos grinded out a win in back and forth match vs FlammaBulls and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Adam L heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 10 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Liam F 5 & Jackson J also helped out in the win with 5 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Harry M focussed on the W, summoned his hustle to put in work for 6 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , George B pitched in to add to the score with, 5 points on the sheet . Birchos taking their talents against FlammaBulls for the first time and getting the W! FlammaBulls were doing well keeping up with Birchos mist game, but the full court defense and extra layups got them the lead and keeping it, the mid range had to be lit up as the bigs from FlammaBulls were getting huge blocks on the Birchos attempts inside…Great first matchup!
The Stallions took the game second half from the Rogues in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Tom K with an epic performance and great score of 9 points in the big dominating victory. . Taylor P finished the game with a commendable 7 points to get over the line. but on the other side Damien getting stats from everywhere including 8 points as he was operating in automatic mode , Jake 7 & Jordy played well as far as getting 7 points in the matchup that couldve gone either way. . Stallions took this game serious! And so did Rogues. This game was a flat out battle of physicality, bit big boys bumping bodies and pushing their way to the rim, it seemed it would be an intense match ready to explode…but everyone on the court loved the old school ball style with both teams allowed to work their offense.
