Div 1 had a bunch of games all decided in the final minute and by a few points, 1 was a close almost comeback, the div is close in competition and the ladder starts spread out…
Chargers got a good win on the KillaBeez and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Geoff A just too much experience around the paint getting 15 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Greg M pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 12 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, Andy K slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 14 points on the sheet , Anf N was stroking it with ease from all parts of the arc. 12 points but that wasnt enough to get his team over the line this time. Chargers came out doing what they advertise, they charged and got the lead quick, leaving killabeez chasing their tail the whole game and chasing the lead too, getting it do come within 2 points with just minutes left, but the Chargers controlled the game and took the game on free throws in the last minute. Chargers in 2nd and KillaBeez in 4th!
Aces just able to get the win by a bucket or so vs Multiple Scoregasm undermanned but pumped up for the challenge. Fola couldnt miss much as he led his team with 19 points to shut the defense down. . Miles pushed the break and went home with a tidy 17 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as James UC & Aiden wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 31 points recorded by the bench , Jacob C was heating up as he bagged 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Aces are starting to get some runs in and a winning streak is starting as they climb the ladder. This game the Aces came out firing and were doing great things on both ends of the court, but Multiple Scoregasm weren’t stopping as James and Aidan combined for a big score and a big run to bring it close. Aces able to snatch the win on free throws in a great game!
Top Gun Agents Crew (TGAC) got a good win on the Double Dunkers in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Brent H heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 16 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Oscar S 10 & Eddie L played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 10 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jed P got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 18 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Tim just too much experience shooting the 3 with 11 points on the sheet . TGAC are still in first place as they take down the Double Dunkers on a chippy finish, a lot of action on both ends, keeping the refs on notice as the hands were flying everywhere trying to get loose balls and to stop the drives from each team. Double Dunkers in 3rd after this loss by a bucket of so.
Div 2 is jam packed at the 2nd spot after this round as the winners got some work done and the bottom end of the ranks look to next round to bounce back.
BD Ballers got a good win on the sliding Bricklayers who hang onto the bottom of the ladder hoping for a streak Zen HR couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 18 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. . Cam B helped out with the load getting 13 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Nathan R heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 20 points but a loss unfortunately , Neale P going to work down low in the blender. 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. . BD Ballers getting the dub this game as they stuck through the plan in the first half to get a slight lead and build on it a little in the 2nd half. The flashy layups by Zen and the nice dishes by Cam and the BD guards complimented the shooters outside lighting it up. Bricklayers also showing their skills with some nice threes by Nathan R who has been keeping the Bricklayers in the game with these shots. Bricklayers in 6th and BD in 3rd.
Dream Team shot the lights out against a helpless Heat Check in a game that had the winners go on scoring runs that werent answered in time. Nathan D beasted hard this game finishing on a great 14 points to get over the line. . Grant O pulling in much needed offensive rebounds as well as 9 points worth of buckets in the win. the only resistance coming from, Jake E put in some big numbers and got the game high in points notching an impressive 23 points helping out with the teams offensive load. , Tyla T had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 6 points but a loss unfortunately . Dream team end their 5 game losing streak with a solid win this round! Heat Check were looking good with some drives and dishes workin well against the Dream team bigs, but the Dream Team crew were too deep and took the Heat Check boys apart in the 2nd half with a barrage of offense, Dream Team in 4th and Heat Check in 5th.
Wyangal Pirates started strong and got the jump on Ultra Instinct and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Nick B with an epic performance and great score of 34 points to ensure they get the win this round. . Alex B had a pretty good game scoring wise with 17 points in this game. Whilst on the other team, Jordan P had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 16 points but a loss unfortunately , Hector A first step too quick for the guard defense on top totalling 11 points as he pitched in to add to the score. . Pirates are in equal 2nd and its because of the great shooting mid range and beyond especially in this one as they put up good looks and made more, coupling it with some offensive boards did the trick over powering the Ultra Instinct defenses this time despite some nice shooting from Jordan and some solid work inside by Hector. Equal 5th for Ultra as they go down this round.
Fighting Mongooses grinded out a win in back and forth match vs Cream City and knew it would be a test on their troops. G Bailey channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 20 big ones to conlclude the mission . Matty B got to good spots on the court and shot well with 14 points on the sheet which simply outscored the other teams leaders being, Tom M couldnt be stopped this game, and couldnt be contained, the D had no answer as he scored a whopping 27 points recorded by the bench , Neuroz 11 & Ken N got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Mongooses are looking strong as they clinch the 2nd equal spot with Cream city. Zac was too big down low again for the Cream City guards and bigs who did what they could to stop the inside scoring. Cream City had some nice threes from Tom keeping the game close. Mongooses able to put them away in the 2nd half as Cream City turned the ball over at some crucial times which cost them the game this Tuesday!
