The season is ready to go!! With the Divs organized and all players ready to get wins , it was on for all and it was a good start to the season!
Starting with Div 1, the upper ranked contenders who will battle for standings and the edge going into the season!
Showtime Shooters had all their troops ready to do battle with Love Cats in a clinic, taking advantage of lesser defensive matchup. Brooklyn G got the game high in points outscoring everyone with 23 points to get over the line. . J Bailey 10 & Jake L let it fly and hit more than missed with 10 points to ensure they get the win this round. whilst on the other team, D Sirro & Mitch L wore the same jersey and also wore the same score…a 16 points on the sheet , Danilo was shooting well from deep with 9 points together as they go down in this matchup. Coming out with energy, Shooters were all over it starting with an unanswered run till Love Cats got some bucket s but couldn’t close the gap, Shooters too quick and too efficient this time..
MIB liked the matchup with Splash who struggled to break the defense to get buckets. Omar N getting stats from everywhere including 13 points to shut the defense down. . Ross M the recipient of some nice extra passes for open shots getting him 8 points, a much needed performance as they won the scoring matchup against the other teams leading man. Despite a good effort by the other team as Christian scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 13 points recorded by the bench , Ahmad A was feeling good with 10 points helping out with the teams offensive load. MIB were hungry after their return and wanted to eat, and they ate up the fast break and put a gap that Splash couldn’t deal with…this time…
Hogz went back and forth but held the lead most of the game against Streetfighters who werent ready for them this game. Elliot J 14 &Johnny M was unconscious and had no remorse for the defense piling in 14 points to lead to victory. . Azza P getting stats from everywhere including 13 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Trevor S owning the glass and taking names in the post with 22 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Zac M ended up with an efficient 12 points on the sheet . The rivalry continues as Streetfighters edge closer again but Hogz just too good with a quick run in the 2nd half to give them a buffer they would win by, despite a quick last ditch effort from Streetfighters, great matchup!
Div 2 had its ups and downs with teams feeling each other out , if they copped a loss, theyd know what to do next time around…
Killa Beez pounced on the defense of opponents, the Lobstars couldnt stop the unselfish offense they were faced with this game. W Jennings weaved through the zone D with some nice footwork finishing on 20 big ones to conlclude the mission . The Mates got a good win on the Yeah the Boys and set the tone from the start, big mentions to the performers in this game. Vikas C beasted hard this game finishing on a great 21 points which was required to keep up in this hectic game. . Div 3 was just as close scoring wise as teams still shaking the rust off took their games to the stadium and showed out, who got up?

The Kents shot the lights out against a helpless Prestige WORLDWIDE and pushed it all the way to the end. Chris W led all scorers on a solid 9 points to ensure they get the win this round. Nick J helped out with the load getting 8 points to get over the line. simply out working the other scorers being, Hayden B got a few buckets to go helping out the team with 5 points in this game. , Jarrod F played well as far as getting 4 points in the loss . Kents looked too good as they pounced on the defense and kept them in check on both ends, Kents get the buffer and added to it to get the W after 40 minutes..Prestige had some great runs but just missed out on some 2nd chance points throughout the game.
