Div 1 had some blockbuster games, some big time matchups and some nice results for the team that played harder on the night, the ranks are stable for now. But the rounds are fading, weeks away from playoffs…
Hogz had its work cut out against Shooters in a grind of a game coming right down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. Johnny M just too much experience shooting the 3 with 10 points to ensure they get the win this round. . AzzA 9 Nate 9 & Dan W played hard and got the same score on the sheet, with 9 points worth of buckets in the win. whilst on the other team, JeZ B pushed the fast break and trasnsition offense resulting in 22 points on the sheet , Brooklyn scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 10 points together as they go down in this matchup. Hogz seemed to control the tempo only to have shooters come back even harder pushing the break and hitting put back shots to chop away at the hogz lead built on hitting 3s…hogz just pulled it off in the end..but only by a bucket…
Streetfighters matched up well against Splash and was able to get the much needed win. Harry S pushed the break and went home with a tidy 16 points to shut the defense down. . Splash and streetfighters had it out in a grind of a game that neither team could get advantage till the 2nd half where Streetfighters finally got a lead on till the last few minutes….Splash came out strong with their patented jumpers and floaters, but the paint was owned by SFs and they took advantage of the size difference and captitalized on it to get the win. MIB Traded buckets most game, but kept a nice buffer all game to close it out vs Bombers , who underestimated the bigs of their opponent and copped a loss for it Dan B channelled Kobe and wanted the win this time, getting 18 point game to contribute to his teams effort. . Jack H slotted in some 3s with some tidy finishes also to get 17 points worth of buckets in the win. Which for this game outshines the effort of, Jerome T pulling up Js from the around the paint and beyond resulting in 17 points worth of buckets in the loss.. , Jed P scored well but it wasnt enough as he notched 11 points on the sheet . MIB had their game on point this night, Bombers were chasing them most game and just couldn’t stop the inside play of the MIB bigs and slashers. Bombers sit in 4th spot right now and MIB just behind them clawin their way back into the winners circle with this win.
Div 2 had a couple of games and they were big time matchups that affected the ladder and mixed up some ranks as some key matchups took place.
Yo Mambas started strong and got the jump on Killa Beez and went back to the locker room with a solid Win. Oscar S heat checked after hitting afew shots and kept going, owning this game with a great 17 points to his name as he helps lead the boys to a much needed win. . Ali M 14 & Jarryd ended up with an efficient 14 points on the sheet even though from the other team, Wayne J played well as far as getting 17 points but a loss unfortunately , Tyran R had the licence to shoot and put them up to end on 17 points helping out with the teams offensive load. Yo Mambas came out strong and got going on the mid range shot which was landing well, they passed the ball well and got some open looks that made the difference in the end. KillaBeez weren’t able to keep their attack going as the two top scorers went 1v1 with the zone to get their buckets. Killa Beez still 1st and Yo mambas in equal 2nd.

Div 3 started off with a bang, the top 2 teams in the Div facing off and the hustle starting early with each team knowing the ladder can be tilted with a favorable result.

Whilst on the other team, John J first step too quick for the guard defense on top totalling 17 points but a loss unfortunately , Grant 6 & Jake finished the game with a commendable 6 points as he pitched in to add to the score. BOHICAs 3 game winning streak is over as Kents extend theirs to 7…A big win for Kents consolidating their 1st rank against the attack of the BOHICA crew who kept up the pace with John hitting the fast break hard and the half court game doing its thing.
