Hog hunters entered the league with one mission, fulfil their namesake and crush the dreams of a 5peat for the HOgz, and they accomplished the mission this game with a huge amount of skill and three pointers notching them an unprecedented undefeated season from round 1 till the finals, the closest was the Hogz who lost on a buzzer beater by Danny Lemme, but this time it was that close, with a quick lead brought by Johnny M with a couple of 3s from his spot, (he finished with 26) they just had to cruise and protect the rest of the way whilst Hogz players catchup.
Luke M shadowed Johnny slightly with a 24 point outing and a 50% from deep game showing the division he came to win this, Hogz had Joe pushed the break and the big shots with 23 points but in the end there wasnt enough g points but going down for Hogz, Dan W on 18 points but couldnt drain from deep, Daz and the crew looking for answers as Hog Hunterz ran away with their title hopes.
Well done Hog Hunters, great season and game to finish it all, classy big scoring efforts that got the big W in the end. Hogz a great effort for what wouldve been the biggest upset in UBL history, Hog HUnters now hope to emulate what Hogz have done in Div 1 Wednesdays and Div 1 on Saturday. Div 2 had the THreeBallers, standard in finals appearances, and this time are on a threepeat as well, Just the Tip hoping for an upset and first title, having great seasons between them, the battle would surely show what potential these teams have for Division 1 next season!
